I’ve attended the spa for about 60 times because I live within 30 km and tend to buy the 10-time passes. It is truly enjoyable and I thought our family gould even book a vacation there, to be able to enjoy the whole experience full time as a family. After reading these reviews, that now seems impossible. We never knew about these flaws. What has changed? This used to be a top attraction and I still see no difference, attending the spa only. It has a GREAT outdoor pool, which is open throughout the year — and remember this is Finland. It’s bound to be expensive to keep that going with about 27-29 C swimming temperature when it’s minus ten outside. This outside pool is my greatest reason to visit and I tend to stay there for the most of the time. When snowing or shining, it’s even better, though there is no view to nature after building so many new buildings around it. But if you are here anyway, check the spa and reserve enough time for visiting that and the superpark (which not really for adults, no matter what they say). It does not matter which month you are visiting, the experience is the same year around. What it comes to the accommodation, I have no clue if that is bad or good. But the soviet union talk in some earlier reviews is full propaganda. These things have not existed at the same time. I was a student when the spa was built. Our aggressive neighbours can no longer pass the border, so for some reviews you just need to read between the lines.
