Toquilla Hotel

I have been a couple of times in Toquila Hotel, prices are convinient and in balance with what you get. They have from 2 persons rooms upto 6 persons, I've styed in the 2 persons and the 6 persons rooms. Some of them have airco and all of them have fans. They have mosquito nets protection. All rooms have one bathroom. The hotel is located infront of the sea therefore some rooms have a direct view to it. They offer the next services: Parking (free), sweamingpool (included in the room price), restaurant and some general areas for guests like hammocks close to the beach. The beach itself is very wide and you can have long walks and suddenly find huge areas with palm trees. Some times you notice dirt coming from the sea. Cojimies town is not far, in a 10 to 15 minutes walk (aprox 1.5Km) you already will reach it's center either you do it via the main way or walking on the beach, if you are by car you it will take you 2 to 3 minuntes. The Hotel staff was very kind to us, our rooms were always clean and service at the restaurant was quite quick. The hotel is pet friendly, still I would advice to bring your dogs leash. I recomend to do the next tours on boat:"La Isla del Amor", "Isla Jupiter", "el Estuario". Boats can be found at the pier in Cojimies.
