La Playa Lodge

Stayed here w/ my husband and mother in law and it was perfect. At first glance it seems kind of bare bones, but really it has everything you need. Clean rooms w/ air conditioning, a wall safe, wifi, and comfy beds, a great shower w/ hot water, and the LOCATION is RIGHT on the beach. It's located south of Cojimies, so it's quiet but still in walking distance if you want to go check out the town. The beach is HUGE at low tide and clean. They have hammocks, cold beer, volleyball net, restaurant, a small swimming pool and good service. The price, at $20 per person plus tax, can't be beat for all that they offer. We'll definitely go back. A great find after checking out lots of hotels between Pedernales and Cojimies.
