Hillerød Holiday House

At the halfway mark of our 3 week holiday in Denmark we were a little tired of hotel hopping and confined spaces - Hillerod Holiday House was the perfect choice to take a breath. A spacious house with 3 bedrooms you can really let your hair down and relax. The house has cooking utensils if you want to stay in or it's only a short drive into the centre of Hillerod with a variety of restaurants or supermarkets depending on your fancy. The owners of the house run a catering business at the front of the property but other than handing over the key stay out of your way. Towels are supplied, and there is a laundry in the basement to do your clothes washing if needed. You need to by your own food, coffee etc... to stock up but if, like us, you're only there for a few nights then the local restaurants are a great option. Only 5 mins to Farum highway which takes you directly into Copenhagen, this lovely home is a wonderful reprieve from constant travel. We would definitely stay there again.
