We stayed one night during our motorcycle tour "Denmark lengthwise". Like most hostels, the accommodation here is reasonably priced for Denmark. Parking is outdoor.

+ Comfortable bed mattresses and pillows
+ Own newly renovated bathroom
+ Nice location on a hill

- Additional charge for breakfast buffet
- ~ 20 min walk to restaurants
- Occasionally unattended reception

Nice budget option

I didn't check in and I got charged. That is rude and unacceptable.

Overall this stay was more than OK. In my opinion the only drawback was the fact that cars were not allowed close to the rooms, not even close to the reception. Being very close to disabled myself (but not yet) it was quite an effort to make it to the reception and to get the key for my room. The surroundings are fantastic!

Value for money

We arrived at 8.30 pm, nobody was here to welcome us but we could find the keys and after looking for the plan of the hotel, we finally found out our room: no sheet on the beds, no towels, no shower gel, a few spiders... we were like: "it's ok, we're just gonna sleep here one night."Too bad: the beds were so bad that both of us end up with torticollis on our neck (I am still completely blocked 2 days later).I don't recommend.

Very relaxing stay at this hostel. Bed were ver comfortable. Room was spacious. Clean and warm. Location was in the middle of a national park away from residential and commercial areas.

Great place to recharge your batteries

I was running a course for One of my costumers. It is a nice "hotel" with Danish design. Everything is in order. Clean and proper The food is great. I fell that This is a great place for business meetings, but it is also great for a familie vacation


Better than expected

Just a brief stay on our way back to AArhus airport.  A bit out of season, but it was still a surprise to learn we were the only ones for breakfast!  That said, the breakfast was lovely and the staff member was polite and helpful

A quiet night in Denmark

Floor extremelly dirty, spiderwebs everywhere, smell like old style elderly home times 5. Large parking. Keys waited for us at reception, linenset in basket next to the keys. Quit area, many flies muscitos, no moscitonet at window. Curtains to small to completelly cover windows. We did not stay and booked an expensive hotel.

When the cheapest option in town is a 75EUR per night room in a hostel you know it is an expensive place!

Saying that this hostel is in a lovely country setting.  The place itself is styled like a cold-war concrete bunker, but the rooms are spacious and have a good view over the countryside.

Bear in mind that as this is a hostel so the facilities are limited (no restaurant, request to clean your own room, extra cost for bed linen or bring your own etc.).

Note also the reception times are very limited, especially out of high season so good to check direct with the hotel how to pick up your key.

Good 'Budget' option.  Lovely setting

This place has as much architectural charm as a WW2 bunker but inside you'll find clean rooms, helpful staff, good (and free) cooking facilities and laundry opportunities (wash and tumble dryer). Free parking for car. Close to the town center as well.
