this place is so cool and cozy to stay with.. i would recommend to my friends and family who will be visiting prague... the staffs are friendly and very accommodating. the comm on kitchen is so clean and the bathrooms as well.


sanctuary in the heart of a city

In our Euro Trip 2018,we had decided to be in Prague for 3 days. After a lot of research we had booked Bed and Books art Hotel.The reasons for booking were many, like good reviews on booking.com, very close from Prague florenc bus station, located in the city center and beautiful pictures.
We arrived at the hotel and got a warm welcome from the receptionist. She was very sweet. Helped us with our luggage as well. We had booked room with private bathroom. The room was very beautiful, very well done.Very Minimalist. The bathroom was very very clean. We had access to the kitchen as well. Fruits were kept for the guests.
There is a currency exchange outlet, super mart and a nice cafe at a stone throw distance from the hotel. Also, The local transport is also just 2 mins walk from the hotel.
Had a great time staying in this Hotel.I would recommend this hotel to people who have plans to visit Prague.

A Beautiful Place to Stay in Prague

Positive points : 
- Location is very good
- Welcoming was great (but take care, closes at 18:00)
- WIFI worked correctly
- Decoration is fine
- Cleaning ladies do a very good job

Negative points :
- I was very surprised to see that I had actually rented a room in a shared flat (3 bedrooms). So I ended up sharing common parts with 2 other people.... who unfortunately decided to make noise during the night. 
- Smell in the common parts (kitchen + bathroom) is clearly not an asset for that place

Good hostel but not hotel

The single beds which are for children but are joined together to make a double. The issue is a gap of a foot in between. The slats are not secure so you just fall down when you go on the bed. The toilet seat moves off, it's broken and needs fixed. The bath tap is loose, it falls off and in my case cut my toe. Very dangerous. The kettle has slime growing inside it. The curtains are black with dust and dirt and the bed sheets are ripped and dirty. If you want to cook you need to get a cleaner to come and fix the cooker as it's disgusting. It's not been cleaned for a while. The pots are unclean and rusty. The standard is very poor and on arrival you cannot get inside the property as there isn't anybody there.

Worst apartment ever

no contact phone to call back when you came late because your flight is delayed more than one hour, nobody answered, wrong phone numbers on entrance doors, manager not answering a phone call also next day. When I booked a hotel, I wrote my arrival would be after 9:00 PM. Unfortunately my flight delayed more than one hour. When I turned my phone on when we landed, I had missed call from hotel. When I came  there, everything was closed, so I tried to contact and dialed the phone numbers on doors with no answer. I have waited there more than one hour till midnight. They left us outside, homeless. The money were transfered before, also they have asked for additional 15 euro because I wrote I will come later. I was forced to find another accomodation. The next day I came there to discuss the problem, their irracional arguments made us very upset. Never happened before when I have travelled through booking. We want our money back. They could have text us a short message with contact or sth, but they gave up. I can not call from plane. Never again.

very unpleasant staff, they left us homeless because we came one our later because of delayed flight, no contact
