We booked Penzion Gardena on the recommendation of a friend. The owners and staff are very, very friendly and really try to help you enjoy your stay. The rooms are beautiful with comfortable beds and lots of space. The location is also great - just on the edge of the oldest parts of the city. This is a huge advantage because you're still absolutely within walking distance (5 minutes max) to the centre of everything, but you avoid the hordes of group tours. A big plus.

Really enjoyed my stay here

We stayed in this B&B for one night.  

The B&B located closely to the bus terminal as well as the entrance of the old town centre.  We arrived before the check-in time and the staff helped us to store the luggage so that we can have a short walk in the old town centre.

We were arranged to stay in a triple room at the 4/F of the B&B, with one single bed and one double bed.  The room is spacious, clean and tidy.  The view from the room is stunning, we can see the castle tower from our room! 

Breakfast is included with variety of food that you can choose from.

Be aware that there is no elevator in the B&B.  At the time of check-in, the host is so nice that we helped us to take the luggage upstairs.  However, when we check-out, we have to take the luggage downstairs by ourselves.

There is a supermarket nearby, within 3 minutes walk.

Nice B&B

we were only in Cesky Krumlov for 1 night.  Penzion Gardena was just what we like...small hotel within walking distance of points of interest.  room was clean and spacious.  breakfast was very nice in dining room that allowed us to meet other couple traveling in the area.

perfect location

We stayed in the annex which was just a few steps up the street. Hotel is close to the center of town and easy walking distance to the main sites. Check in was easy. Nice breakfast room with the typical European buffet style servings. No complaints at all, would stay again.

One night stay on a biking trip

We, 4 couples, stayed here for 1 night last week.Highly recommend this Penzion. The rooms very spacious and clean. Very good breakfast. Host was very accommodating, always prompt with written questions. Additionally he let us check in early,noon, which then gave us the entire afternoon hassle free to explore Cesky Krumlov which was just across the street.

Very nice

This B&B was in the perfect spot in town, literally just outside the city centre. The room that we were in was in the second building and it was the perfect size for 2 people. The beds were comfortable and the room was cool at night. Checkin was easy and quick, we paid when we arrived to make checkout easier. Breakfast was really good with lots of options. We were honestly spoilt for choice. Free wifi is really important and this place supplied fast wifi. Normally free wifi is slow, this definitely wasn’t the case here. The hostess was nice enough to offer to house our bags after checkout, just in case we didn’t want to carry them with us. It was greatly appreciated and the kind action was noticed. This place is great for a stay and I would highly recommend it.

Perfect Spot

Excellent pension.  Very friendly and helpful stuff. Great breakfast and extremely  comfortable room. Private parking, and excellent location, close to the heart of Cesky Krumlov.  Iva recommended very good restaurants in the city and helped us a lot in planning our trips around the area..

A very warm welcome from the owner(maybe) made us feels so comfy and feels like home. She told us everythig we should know without asking, such helpful and kind. Room is nice and clean eventhough it's quite small but we still feel so comfy. They provide us basic stuffs we need such as hair dryer, soap, shampoo, shared microwave, shared kettle, and shared fridge. Breakfast is good as well. Everything was perfect!!
