I have nothing to fault this place except that there should have been a hook such that the curtains will totally block off the light in the morning.
Other than that, our stay was fantastic. Dana was very helpful and gracious. The breakfast she served to our room  ( can be arranged) was filling. The place was clean and centrally located. Best of all, the view from the window was awesome. Simply the best!. I would recommend it for a romantic getaway. We got the suite with a kitchen and a separate bedroom apart from a big bed in the living room. The  room can fit about 4 people comfortably . There is no parking as listed, but as requested, Dana was nice enough to arrange for  parking, cheaper than the public parking charges. 

Cesky Krumlov was like stepping into a time machine. Make sure you do the castle tour 1 or 2, and avail of a walking tour guide. If you like old world and medieval stuff then this is the place for you. I would say a 2.5-3 day weekend would be enough to enjoy the place and move around.
Enjoyed this magical place and would definitely come again.

Personalized Service

Our stay was excellent.  Veronika was the perfect host.  We arrived a bit earlier than planned, but Veronika happily prepared the flat in about 30-minutes.  It was clean, well provisioned, and a very comfortable place to stay--with an excellent view of the castle. 

The location of the flat was perfect--very near the center, just far enough away to be nice and quiet. Veronika also arranged a private parking place just outside the pedestrian area for a reasonable fee.

I should mention that the beds are typical Central European beds, whereby they can be a little firmer than what many North Americans are used to.  If you have a bad back, you may want to mention it to Veronika so that she can be prepared and try to find possible solutions.

The only drawback for some would be that there is no lift.  So, if you have a lot of luggage, you'll need to haul it up several flights of stairs.  For us, it was a non-issue, since we traveled light and practically no luggage.  If you are not very mobile and don't do well with stairs, then you probably want to look elsewhere--but if you don't mind the stairs and don't have much luggage, this would be an excellent choice.

My wife and I would happily stay here again, the next time we come to Cesky Krumlov--and we would recommend it to others.

Great place to stay

A wonderful place to stay. Well located in the old town just up from the main square. The view from the attic room across to the castle was magnificent. The apartment was enormous, bright and clean and had everything you need for a self contained stay. It was a few flights up with no lift, but the owner helped with the luggage. Veronika was really friendly and helpful. Good wifi.

Huge apartment, amazing view

Perfectly situated apartment, within easy walking distance of all the major attractions in this vey beautiful village. Bedroom was large and airy, with heaps of hanging space (and plenty of coat hangers). Bathroom was spotless, plenty of hot water and good lighting over the basin/mirror. Huge living/dining area with comfy couch and amazing view from the window, looking over the town to the castle. A lovely quiet place to stay.

Position, position, position

Spent just a night in this Bohemian wonderland of a town & couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We were booked to stay in Castle View apartments first but changed over to apartman horni based on pictures. We lucked out with the attic 1 bedroom apartment which has amazing views of the town & castle & tower.The location is fantastic with a minute's walk to the main square - which turned out pretty useful since the weather was cold & rainy thanks to the unpredictable nature of spring. The apartment itself was simply beautiful and although it was a bit of a climb with the luggage (only downside since there was no elevator) it was well worth it to be at the top. Host was not physically present but just a phonecall away and quite helpful. There is a jewelry & other stuff store on the ground floor of the apartment which also serves as the reception - which is nice to have when you walk in every time. Perfect for someone who likes walking in an out of an apartment (other than the climb) and yet has a great view and a spacious beautiful place. This is where i would stay again if ever in Cesky Krumlov.
