After driving 6 hours, during check in, I told the host I needed a beer. He walked into his place and brought me a beer. One of his own beers! How awesome is that for a greeting! The rooms were clean and very quiet.

Very nice stay in this guest house. Due to a delay we arrived in the middle of the night but the owners were very kind and let us in when we arrived. Nice hot tub in the garden which is relaxing after a day at Plitvice. The room was nice. Breakfast was good but not very much choice in bread.

Hubby and I chose to spend New Year holidays in Guest house Orešković. It was excellent and we had a great time. We have never experienced such a nice hospitality. The rooms are very clean and spacios. In addition, food was fantastic, like in a five star hotel. We also had a great guide for the local landmarks. We will definetely visit Guest house Orešković again.

Mislav and his familly are extremely attentive and accommodating hosts. 
Accommodation is nice, neat and clean.
Warm Jacuzzi is super extra content in winter days....
Good breakfast.
 Local food.
I highly reccomend.

We've stayed 2 nights at this nice guesthouse. Very friendly and enthusiastic family who'll do anything to make you feel at home. A big plus was the jacuzzi! It was very relaxing after a long hike. We ate 2 times in their restaurant. We had the vegetarian menu and it was absolutely delicious. This are the prices: 3- course meal meat: € 23 / vegetarian: €20 and fish : €25. We booked dinner in advance.
Their slavonian wines are absolutely nice: 3€ for white and €4 for a glass of red wine. 
The room was nice, good beds, tea and coffee and a/c for hot nights. 
The guesthouse is situated close to Plitvice lakes. By car it takes maybe 10-15 minutes to drive to gate 2. Gate 1 is further away. 
We took their lunchbox (€8) with us to Plitvice, also very nice.

We had the best time staying at this guest house while visiting plitvice lakes National park during our honeymoon to Croatia, and this was one of the highlights from our entire trip. Service was excellent, communication was prompt and very strong, the rooms were so modern, clean and contained great amenities. The breakfast was wonderful too with so many delicious options.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay in the middle of Plitvice Lake National park. The owners are amazingly friendly family and a  very sweet female dachshund named Simba is a very special family member too.. Great homemade food, clean and comfortable rooms and fabulous outdoor jacuzzi will make your staying in Lika county perfect holidays.

This guest house has nice and modern clean rooms, with a sweet balcony overlooking the forest.

Location is ideal as only a short drive (10 mins) to the Plitvice Lakes National Park.

It is a little challenging to find, so make sure you're using Google Maps instead of your car navigation.

Great spread of breakfast options, a buffet each morning included in your room rate.

We took advantage of having dinner in their restaurant, which was excellent food cooked by the owners (a lovely couple), you receive a 3 course meal for 20 euros and a couple of shots of homemade grappa. The owner says the reason for no Corona is due to a daily dose of Grappa:-)

What to say about family Oreskovic to fully desribe our experience in this beautiful house ; lovely, kind, friendly.... This was our first time in Lika and Gorski kotar and they helped us with everything, they recommended us places to see what we couldn't  find over the internet. 
The house is very warm with a beautiful garden surrounded by the forest in a beautiful nature. The room is clean with clean towels and sheets. Breakfast was varied with several types of salami, cheese, cereals, yogurt, several types of spreads, fresh fruits and vegetables with a diverse selection of drinks (milk, cocoa, coffee, fresh orange juice, apples, tea ...). 
What particularly thrilled me was that they prepared eggs for me every morning when I came to breakfast to keep it as warm and fresh as possible. Also   
since it was my birthday, the owners surprised me with a favourite cake they baked just for me and with a favorite drink. Hot tub after active day is the best thing ever (don't worry about the privacy, you'll have it). I could write about this family, house and the hole place a novel because we had a such a great time in Lika and Gorski Kotar. We'll definietly come back to visit this amazing place. Highly recommend !!!!

The husband and wife who run this guesthouse are lovely and very accommodating. They both speak English well and were easy to contact with questions. 
The rooms are very clean and their dinners (25-30 euros) were delicious! 
After walking Plitvice Lakes National Park, I appreciated their hot tub and lounging chairs. As a solo traveler, I appreciated their kindness.
Highly recommend!
