This was our favourite hotel during our entire trip ( we started in Cinque Terre, Italy). The room was essentially a little apartment which included a kitchen area that had stove, fridge, utensils, pots and pans, you name it! The balcony and view are stunning, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a relaxing evening. 

Semy was a wonderful host, she made us tasty juice and showed us all the major tourist attractions. She tidied the apartment but wasn't invasive, she even left us a plate of fresh fruit as a surprise. 

The location was great, close to beaches and restaurants and only a 10 min uber ride to Old Town. 

10/10 recommend, we will absolutely come back to guest house Avdic.

The views are amazing and the apartment had everything we needed and more. The appartment was very well equipped, even had coffee maker and washing machine! The little touches such as soap and shower gel made it a lovely break. The host was lovely and brought us icecream and homemade cakes. Beautiful location would highly recommend. Thank you Semy x

Just lovely

Very friendly and helpful host. The studio has fabulous views over Marina. Shop and ATM close by. Host provided welcome treat on arrival plus maps and info on local area

Warm welcome and very enjoyable stay

I had several issues getting to Croatia due to the corona thing going on but the hotel was completely accommodating and understanding. They actually were willing to change my dates twice for me with no penalty. The lady who owns the place is a true sweet heart even willing to do my laundry and supply me with new towels.

Incedible hospitality

Guest house Avdic was a really alternative to the Dubrovnik old town traffic. Babin kuk area has 3 really nice beaches including the biggest Cobacabana beach. The host is really friendly and nice lady who made us feel most welcome and even bring us some fresh fruits and wine from their own garden behind the house. The superior room had an amazing balcony with to the bay. Rooms were clean and air-conditioned. Food market and buses to the town just 200 meters away. Highly recommend place to stay in Dubrovnik.

Nice and calm place close to the beach

We have just come back from a 10 day stay in the superior studio with a sea view. The apartment is a converted attic so there are some issue with a low ceiling, the kitchen is small but useable, as is the bathroom. It is also at the top of a hill with about 140 steps down to the coast. That's enough of the negatives, being on a hill means there are fantastic views of the harbour so that you can watch all the boats coming and going. There are huge cruise liners to small boats none of which can be heard once the window is closed. There is a small lovely beach 10 minutes walk away. Sema the host is fantastic, she was there to welcome us when we arrived and on two occasions brought us home made wine and cake. She even made us an evening meal one night and brought it up to our balcony. All amenities are within walking distance including a supermarket, bakery, a street with loads of bars and but into town. If you are thinking about booking this room, then do it. We cannot recommend it enough

Amazing views

We are staying here at the moment and what a find!! Beautiful self catering room with all you need and more! And not forgetting the stunning view. Semy the owner has been lovely and nothing is any bother, and made us feel right at home here!! Tonight she brought us home baking and a bottle of homemade red wine, delicious! A short journey into the old town of  Dubrovnik around 10mins on local bus( bus stop close by) a supermarket, bakery, shops and restaurants within a few mins walk. I would highly recommend this accommodation. 10/10 

Highly recommended 

This had a wonderful view and amazing air conditioning. Only thing a little weird was the host would enter our room when we were there. we were basically upstairs in her home. just didn't feel very private.

We stayed here for three days and it was a good accommodation. It had a TV, fridge, kitchen and a microwave but the best of all was the little terrace with a great view to the bay, you would see the bridge and cruising ships all day, breakfast everyday with this view was an authentic pleasure.

In the bad side I would have to say that it's kinda far from the city center (old town). There's a bus that takes you directly in about 15-20min, that pass every 30 min or so.

It has a private parking spot.


Nice view!

I was unsatisfied of this guesthouse, and even of dubrovnik, where it feels everywhere as the tourists are robbed by locals in every activity (walls access, parking, buses, markets, pensions). The guest house avdic was one of the last remaining available at our arrival, so we went there since they speak about sea wiev and free parkings, but it is far from the centre, difficult to find, and the bus stop is quite far away on the hill. We had an internal room, small, with mosquitos and wihtout any view, moreover inside the house of the owners, without this being previously explained on the website, and the price was too high for the service given in my opinion. The room was although clean. Indeed the owner was quite rude with us on arrival (for sure the less kind we found in three weeks trip around), she commented after our heavy luggages, and the only thing she asked about us was the time of our departure the day after, and in the morning exactly one minute later than such time she knocked on the door to hurry up, while we were just going out. 
I am not used to bad rewievs actually, but my suggestion here is try to go somewhere else, or also pass by to see the stradun and then go down for example in kotor, where you find a marvellous fenced city as well but better accomodations and lower prices and better treatment around for tourists.
