Good base for exploring the Old Town. The owners are friendly and provided us with cold drinks on arrival. We were in Room 3, which does not have a terrace but does have a private bathroom, which was very nice and clean. It is a little outdated (entirely wood panelled) but clean, comfortable and with good air con. Towels were provided, as well as leaflets and info about Dubrovnik. The wifi is a little patchy at times but on the whole absolutely fine. The guest house is a little out of the way and I would recommend getting a taxi rather than trying to drag your suitcases up all the steps from the Old Town. It isn't far from the Old Town, but it is quite steep, especially if it is hot! On the whole, great stay in Dubrovnik and good value!

Good value

We have just returned from a 7 night stay here, we had room 3 (wooden interior) there was air conditioning, a fridge (with freezer box at top) and a decent bathroom. There is no terrace or balcony with this room and it's rather dark, if they painted the wooden interior it would help brighten this room up as there's very little natural light. However it was clean, had WiFi and the owners are very nice and gave us complimentary free drinks upon arrival. Towels were provided, stunning views from the road, the walk to Old Town is around 10 mins, probably nearer 15 coming back as it's uphill (over 200 steps) 

Very good apartment for visiting Dubrovnik old town

We stayed in room 3 here for one week as we toured around Dubrovnik and also Bosnia/Montenegro. Its location makes it a good base for exploring as it's only a short walk to the Old Town and close to the cable car station which is also by the bus stop and other amenities. 

The room itself was very clean upon arrival and the bathroom was very nice. It was quite dark at times as seemed to lack natural light - one window was high up and obscured and the other had shutters to block out light as backed onto the corridor leading into the rooms. The air conditioning was very nice when returning hot and tired after climbing the 214 steps! The Internet signal was very poor and at times my phone couldn't even recognise the network which was frustrating. The walls seem to be quite thin and we were often kept awake at night by people in the other rooms cooking as the kitchen was adjacent to room 3, but we were so tired it often wasn't too much of a problem.

The owners of the accommodation were very friendly and despite the language barrier we still managed to communicate. It was hard work lugging the suitcases up all the steps in the heat and upon arrival they provided us with cold drinks. 

If I stayed again I think I would want to book a room with the terrace as the views really are stunning. If you stay here there is no need to do the overpriced cable car as you can see the old town very clearly from here. All in all it was a great stay and would recommend staying here.



Stunning views and a great base 

I stayed here with a friend for three nights. We organised a taxi transfer from the airport and the owner met us from the main road (taxi drop off point) and drove us down to the apartment. He was very friendly and welcoming. There was a slight language barrier but we all managed to communicate! 
The whole place was very clean and had a lovely smell. We had our own private bathroom which was small but nicely decorated. 
The shared kitchen area was clean and bins were emptied daily. We also had a shared balcony with a beautiful view of the old town. 
Our beds were comfy and we slept really well. 
The apartments are on a hill and there are a lot of steps to climb each night which can get quite tiring in the heat but its worth it for the view! 
I would recommend this place and I would stay here again.

Beautiful View

brilliant location and central . Owners very helpful and accommodating . Unfortunately you have to negotiate stairs daily but this is all over the town . Due our visit being early season we had the property to ourselves . Ideal for a family / or couples as separate rooms but shared bathroom kitchen .
