I stayed 3 nights at this property. The rooms are small but clean, unfortunately the room did not have AC and the humidity was bad. Breakfast was delicious ! They will make your bed everyday, another great thing is the beach and the restaurant that are really close to the property. The cat on property is the sweetest, if you ever go please be nice to her she is adorable and friendly. Things that they can improve is the " concierge" or the person at the entrance of the property did not know the area or any tours nada! the kitchen smell like gas all the time, so we never use the area , rather eat at the restaurant near by and the AC , they should have AC in all rooms.

Great place but it can improve!

This place is OVER priced. The only good thing about this hotel is the location, right next to the beach. 
We don't understand where all their "good reviews" are coming from because the other guests during our stay weren't that happy either. 

The room itself was clean, we paid a little extra to have the AC and thank God we did because it was humid! 

The BED was the WORST we've ever slept on, we could feel the springs whenever we laid down. You can even hear them, that's how worn out it was, imposible to get a good rest on it. Whenever we turned around the BED FRAME CREAKED, very bad. 
For the price they charge one could think they could get new or comfier mattresses. 

TOWELS were also worn out and SMELLY.
NO PRIVACY OR WIFI IN THE ROOMS.

We had an incident with our key to open the parking, because it broke and although the front desk guy was nice enough to change the key we barely saw him because he is barely there, you can reach him on whatsapp but not practical if you have an emergency. 
The lady that cooks breakfast didn't seem too happy about us asking what breakfast they offer so we decided to not eat there. 

We can go on about other things but overall WORST VALUE FOR MONEY RATIO. 

YOU COULD DEFINITELY FIND MUCH BETTER AROUND! 

We stayed in ROOM 1 for 2 nights, if we had a longer stay definitely would have changed hotels.

THE WORST STAY IN 20 days in Costa Rica

Please take a look a the pictures, imagine a horrible smell in the bathroom and try to feel the electricity hit your hand when you try to put on the ‘hot’ shower! A SHAME OF A PLACE. Be WARNED please!

HORRIBLE place!

Habitaciones muy pequeñas, con ventilador obsoleto ya que no sirve, el tv es muy pequeño y la atención al cliente pésima. NO hay una persona encargada que esté en el lugar si no que tienen sus horas para que uno llegue al lugar. No recomiendo este cuartucho hay otros lugares con el mismo precio y más bonitos estas. 
Very small rooms, with obsolete fan since it does not work, the TV is very small and the customer service is very bad.  There is NOT a person in charge who is in the place but they have their hours for one to arrive at the place.  I do not recommend this room there are other places with the same price and more beautiful these.

Habitaciones asfixiantes 

Incredible stay, Lorena and Enrique are such a great hosts, they worried all the time for us to feel comfortable, breakfast was great, the beach was awesome, the property is in a great location away and close from Puerto Viejo, we loved the details in the room, the rooms are neat and very clean, for sure we will be back soon

Awesome place

We spent several days in this hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff. Thank you very much--we enjoyed talking to you. Henry helped us with transport and gave really good advice about the beaches.
There is a small kitchen with the gas stove and some cooking utensils and a comunal fridge.
The rooms are very small, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything in the next room.
The owners could invest some more money in the hotel and provide shampoo, at least, for the price people pay. 
We do not recommend for a long stay, but for a short stay it is OK.

Great staff

- We stayed in Sol de Nit for a week.
- Room with a (not too comfortable bed) and private bathroom with shower.
- They serve a nice breakfast on your private terrace.
- Beach is in walking distance and incredibly beautiful.
- Puerto Viejo with super markets and restaurants is a 5min drive away.
- The owners are super friendly

Wonderful beach, room has everything you need

I spend a couple of nights while joining a group of friends who had rented the 8-people house. Cheap accommodation, looks dated and had smelly bathrooms. Good thing is that is very close to the beach.

You get what you pay

Bad odours, battered mattresses, badly kept installations... I came for a much needed holiday to spend time in the beach in paradise but ended up worrying about stuff that could have been fixed by the property keepers. Staff had bad manners when asked to sort these things out. Just go somewhere else and forget about this place full of problems.
