109 reviewsVilla Cacao is an absolute juxtaposition to Santa Teresa. Inside the gates, it is calm and restful. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Better still, there are private patios that are screened by live plants so that you can sit outside and read, have a drink or play cards without being interrupted. The pool area is inviting and the pool was sparkling clean. The chaos is outside the gate. Between the construction on the roadway and the numerous buildings going up, it was a shock to the senses. Add the heavy traffic and the number of visitors (we were there in OFF SEASON) and I worry about the beautiful village. It can't sustain that kind of growth.
