Changzhou is a city of enormous industries. This hotel is located in a newly developed part of the city, this part was developed for 2008 Beijing Olympics, so the luxury has no limits in this hotels. Filled with multi cuisine restaurants, truly a boon for the foodies...all the Chinese dishes were served in an authentic way.....the oriental restaurant is serving great Japanese food. The hotel has spa facilities which surely made me relax after a hectic schedule. If you are a vegan or a Jain then, you have to approach the desk manager to help you out with the translation part to the chef. The staff can understand english, but replying will be the tough part. The hotel provides free Wi-Fi and breakfast...the kitchen closes by 9.30pm, so if you plan a dinner then you should hurry. The hotel does have tennis courts and a fully equipped gym. There is no swimming pool in the hotel enclosure...but need not worry, you are in for a surprise when you get to the Olympic swimming pool through a private pathway from the hotel. The feel is great, you get to swim in the same swimming pool were the Olympic athletes had swam. The hotel has all the details which you need for roaming around the old and new city. Collect enough visiting cards, from the hotel, so that you can travel back to the hotel in any available taxi by just handing over the card to the taxi driver.
