very nice budget hotel with reasonable price, a small compacted comfortable private room, and it's located exactly near MRT station just only few walking foot step, hence it's quite convenient to travel around NanJing city easily.

Comfortable room in Nanjing freezing winter

Location
Location is what I like the most during my stay in Nanjing. This hotel is situated really in the center of Nanjing, easy to access with many kinds of transportations (bus or metro). Not forget to mention, there are many options to eat (from very affordable budget to high-class restaurants).

The Room
The room was small, but it’s okay, we booked a Family room, so we put all our bags in the second top bed. Otherwise, we don’t have a place to place our belongings. Every day there is a cleaning lady coming to our room, she cleaned the floor and toilet, and also bringing fresh towels and new toilet paper. 

Price
It’s a good price for a good location.
 
Internet
At the first night, I couldn’t browse at all, the internet was super slow. And the next days, the internet seemed normal but still slow. I suspect Saturday’s night the hotel was many people, so internet so slow. And during the weekdays, not so many people here, so internet was fine. 

Our first night was sad. When we were back to our room, we smelled smoke from another room, and the fan in our bathroom was a bit open. Luckily, whoever was smoking there only stayed for a night.  

Service
The receptionist was a bit cold to us, or perhaps because she couldn’t speak English. She asked us to fill the registration form, I thought it’s her job to fill it in. Anyway, this is an express hotel, so everything they do is on the expressway. 

Verdict
What I like the most is the location. You can do many things in the surrounding.

Cheap price for a good location.

You get more of the great stay for your moneys worth. You wont miss this hotel as its very visible. The staff is pretty much awesome, they go out of their way to help you, and service with a smile. I have no complaints whatsoever with the staff, only praises. They even get in touch with you to tell you that you left your things. Awesome customer service. Language is not a problem, they have translators on the phone. Vendos on the lobby sells basic needs, food, and drink so no worries on that area. Besides, just around the corner are food stands, bakery, and a resto. Near a subway station, bonus!. The alley where this hotel is, their is an old temple a few steps down the road. So its another bonus on the sights to see. They gave me a room which was pretty much on the quiet side so it helps a lot at the end of the day when you want a good nights sleep. Room is compact, its nice that way cozy and everything is within reach. Limited internet, not their fault. But hey theres TV. They have insect repelant, just in case you have mosquito abound. I'd come back here on my successive trips to Nanjing. Thank you to the staff.

My Home in Nanjing

It is just 10 steps away at the north of exit 2 of Zhangfuyuan station. The hotel is very cheap and it is worth the money. They provide everything you need (e.g. shampoo, soap, towel, tissue paper). You can also buy more toiletries at the machine on the ground floor. However, the hotel staff cannot speak English so you may need to use translation application to help you communicate a little bit.

Cheap and nearby the subway station

The pros are cheap and convenient but the given information on booking dot com are completely wrong even the map that they provided on the website and even the phone number are no longer in use. I am not sure if this is the one that I stayed but the address above are correct and the picture of the motel/inn are different. But anyway there is one on the Zhangfuyuan Metro Station and exit on 1 then turn right and walk straight about 5 minutes you will see this motel/inn on your right. Non english speaking staff. The city center located about 10 minutes walking distance which is Xinjiekou Metro Station. Non of these rooms are sound proof or even a non smoking room, you may even heard of someone talking next door or tv volume.. Have fun !
