Stayed here for a night. Location of this place is good, as it is very next to westlake. Front desk staff were friendly although they couldnt speak much English. The room was pretty ordinary. Since I stayed alone it was fine for me. I didnt try food in the restaurant, but there are many options if one can walk around the street. This place near to the shopping street as well. Overall it is good value for money.

Value for money, nice location

I was here 2 days and nothing impressive. The room big enough with a strange decor. The staff are very helpful but they don't understand much English so so when I ask them something it's hard to explain. No elevator and I have take the stairs all the way with heavy suitcases. That not good. Located next to the famous hangzhou west lake where you can walking around for a day of ralaxing, closed to the shopping area's and more nice restaurants,...Overall hotel is value for money.

Good room

Stayed here two nights with my teen-aged kids.  The price is right, the location can't be beat, and the staff is charming and eager to please.  But I'm afraid I have to concur with others that for westerners, only the most frugal and robust will love this place.  Stairs are long and steep, rooms are high-mileage, and the all-Chinese breakfast ranged from OK (when we arrived early) to appalling (when we arrived in the last half hour of the 7-9 slot.)  And without my Chinese-speaking daughter we would have been toast, since few if any of the staff speak much English.  However, if you speak a bit of the language, are pinching pennies, and don't insist on western standards, this may be just the place.

Great location, hard-working staff, but....

This hotel is a bit tricky to find as it is tucked away on a small side street off a main road (on east side i think) next to West Lake. It's close to the Arts museum so if you can find that, then you are quite close by.

The room was ok in size and clean. Bathroom the same - nothing to rave on about but for the price we paid, we were happy. Location was ok too - it´s close to some restaurants and cafes (although we did not try them) and also walking distance (about 20 mins) to the market street.

Good value for money for short stay

Positive: Close to WEST LAKE, very friendly personal ( but wenn you really need help, they seem to ignore you)
Negative : The room smell strange and tiny, the badroom look terrible and smell , the worst restaurant that we have ever seen,  please go outside to find other restaurant for breakfast, you will not miss the breakfast believe me. no ELEVATOR. The Bathsoap and Shampoo smell very strange, the Air Condition is too Loud. This is absolute no Hotel with 3 Stars....

so we suggest you to AVOID this hotel, you can find many hotels with the same room rates near to WEST LAKE.
Remember : in Hangzhou at 16 till17 o'clock there is very hard to find taxi, as we got our Taxi at 16:45, he forced us to pay him 100 yuan otherwise he didn't want to take us to Trainstation  ( actually about 12 Yuan)

TIP: near to West Lake , there are a Korean Restaurant , the food were very delicious and not too expensive with very beautiful Interior Design....but the personal is solala...
