Dongzhimen Golden Pineapple Youth Hostel

We've always stayed here every time that we've visited Beijing. Airport Express train from Beijing Airport ends at a 10-minute walk from the hostel. Conveniently located to subway, shopping, banks, and the 7-11 convenient store right next door. If you need room with windows, get the deluxe room, otherwise, we've been fine staying in windowless rooms. Rooms are clean. Hallway carpets are getting a bit old and dirty, but hasn't been a big deal for us. Staff are friendly and helpful. Air conditioning isn't as cold as the American standard, but it's just right for a comfortable night of sleep. We will keep staying there when we visit in the future until something drastic happens.
