Katarsy's Hostel

PLUSES: - fast wifi, working also in the room - very close to the beach (but far away from the city centre) - absent staff (you can feel very private), at least during low season - two supermarkets in the same building (fresh, often hot bread) - kitchen with dining room to free guests disposal (in Chile it happens that some places count you additionally for using their kitchen facilities) - the city centre is indeed very far, but on the other side, most of the distance one can cover very pleasantly going on the beach to the lighthouse, and then another pleasant walk on promenade) for us it wasn't really a problem, and even an advantage MINUSES: - no breakfast - we really enjoyed our room, but is seemed we were the only guests, so we got the best one (quite big, with a terrace over the street from which the sea is also visible) however, I can understand that if someone got another room (we saw three of the) does not have to be very satisfied - all of them were "inside rooms" without any window. But still if someone is looking for a cheap (as for Chile) place close to the see it is worth!
