We had a lovely welcome and had booked a room with balcony at the front with a great view over the river. 
Don’t book at the back as you’ll have a view of a rocky cliff. 
We were worried about possible noise from the lorries coming up the hill from the 24 hour ferry but didn’t hear a thing. 
The shower was small but efficient, in fact the whole room was rather claustrophobic – perfect for one night but wouldn’t want to stay any longer. We never watch TV on holiday but were amused by the smallest one we’d ever seen. 
First place we’ve stayed for a while with no fridge and no bedside lights. There was a shared kitchen downstairs with ice, a shared fridge and glasses.

Perfect For One Night

We stayed here for only 1 night. The front office closes at 8 pm and we arrived at 8:45 and left the room at 7:30 am the next morning so we had no contact with anyone from the hotel. Everything was left on the bed so it worked out. Lots of free parking. Nice, clean room but it was kind of small and we did not get the room we were promised on the 2nd floor. No fridge in the room but there is a common fridge that can be used (we did use it for some food we had) and the bathrrom was pretty big. We appreciated that. Tried to stay at Hotel Tadoussac but they required 3 nights. We would stay here again if we were ever in the area but we would get 2 rooms as our family of 4 barely fit in the room we got (it was a 2 double bed room)

Stayed for one night

The room was compact but clean and comfortable.  The view from the front lawn was extraordinary!  Stepping outside in the morning opened up the day to fabulous possibilities by gazing down to the village and the St Lawrence, or looking to the side to view the Saguenay River nestled between two hills.  It was an easy walk down the hill to the village, but a harder walk at the end of a long day.  The view was worth it!  I would have liked coffee in the room.  I would stay there again in the future.

Fantastic views

While it's definitely not fancy and rooms are small, rooms with balconies are very nice and offer beautiful views of the water and mountains. Bed was comfortable and unlike someone else mentioned, there was air conditioning in my balcony room. The front desk woman was very nice and we managed to communicate fine despite my lack of French and her lack of English. Translators are great! The only real downside for me was that to get coffee you have to go outside then back into reception which isn't fun early in the morning and there are no coffeemakers, kettles, microwaves or anything to heat water with. I ended up using the hottest water on tap I could get. I really appreciated that there was a communal refrigerator in the hall to use. That said, I loved the town and would probably stay again.

Clean, Comfy and Friendly Hotel with Good Views

I liked to stay here besides the price and the fact that the staff did not speak english. Very clean roons and a beautiful view from the top! The hotel also have coffe (C$ 1,50) , an oven and a refrigerator that guests can use. 

Friendly staff clean Hotel

No, it's not the Vendôme Hotel in Paris. But the rooms are very nice, very functional and very very clean. Prices are more than reasonable and the rooms overlooking the bay rival famous places. I had a great night there. Do not hesitate.

Honnête et tout à fait adéquat.

This hotel advertised air conditioned rooms both on their website and in their brochure. We reserved 2 rooms with balcony overlooking the St. Lawrence.  Once checked in we discovered this was not the case when I spoke to the receptionist about it she said there was an error in the website as they have air conditioned rooms just not the 4 with balconies (the rooms with the best view).  The rooms were small and the bathroom was a joke.  The shower is tiny. I am a petite woman and I could barely fit in.  Our water pressure was non existent and when I advised the reception I was told that it was fine the day before and she would have someone look at it the following day.  Totally indifferent.  Not a great experience.

Not as advertised

Very nice and simple hotel on the uptown of Tadoussac, perfect for a stop on a whales watching trip. Rooms were very comfortable and clean with a nice area in front of the building to have a drink or just chill after a day. The harbor and city center are 15 minutes walk but buses can do pick up at the hotel if needed.
Definitively recommend the rooms with view that have a balcony and view of the bay (perfect in the morning at wake up).
Will stop again at this hotel if back in Tadoussac.

Nice hotel in Tadoussac for whales watching trip

Receptionist was very helpful and arranged for the minibus to pick us up for a whale tour and let us keep our bags in the room whilst we were on it. The room itself was warm and clean, and it had a fan and dehumidifier to ensure comfort on summer.
