We recently cancelled our reservation last minute due to Provincial travel advisories for tourists to avoid the Central Okanagan due to wildfires and Covid.

The host was unsympathetic and failed to acknowledge the travel advisories stating their air quality was fine. She suggested that we should take out travel insurance next time. We were charged 100% of our stay even though they were able to rebook our room to other guests.

We expressed our disappointment via email and received a rude and unprofessional response.

Had to cancel, no refund, rude host

Beautiful property.  Lovely grounds surrounded by big trees.  Peaceful.  Very comfortable accommodation with lots of room.  Great breakfasts.  Close to lots of wineries.  Friendly and helpful owner.  Great place for a couple or small group.  Would go back for sure

Excellent Guesthouse 😊

A gorgeous estate in the heart of Naramata wine country but just minutes from central Penticton. 10 acres of park like paradise.

You will feel free to relax here because the owners understand the unconstitutional tyrany of masking and lockdowns. guest can truly exercice freedom of choice here.

The breakfasts are so delicious. Some well behaved family dogs also make this guesthouse a friendly place to stay.

Perfect Setting, Serene Location & Freedom from Tyrany

This is a long over due review. Silke hosted our family in July 2019 for 3 nights in the adorable cottage. From the moment we arrived we were in love with her place. It really is like no other, we’ve ever been to and our children still talk about it to this day. Pictures just don’t come close to doing justice for how truly beautiful it it. The huge trees and gardens were meticulously looked after.  Even though there is numerous rooms at the property we felt like we had our own private place. At breakfast we had our own table in the garden. The beds were very comfortable. The view from the top of the hill is spectacular and the perfect place to go with a bottle of wine. Even though Sille was busy working she still went above and beyond with showing us around, giving us the best recommendations for beaches, wineries, places to eat, and things to do.  The breakfasts were simply amazing (5 star and prepared and served by just 2 people) The amount of work that must go into running this place is impressive. We look forward to coming back one day, hopefully soon.

As good as it gets

Had a booking for a friends wedding in July. Wedding canceled months in advance due to Covid. Have called them 3 times over the last month to find Out when I will get my deposit back. No calls from anyone. Was told by the the wedding party that other people were told to get the money from the bride and groom. Never went to the actual location but I would never deal with this company ever if this is how they do business! Bookers beware! Seems like a sketchy business!

E'Laysa was our choice for it's location and it turned out to be such an awesome stay. This property is beyond beautiful and way more than we expected. Silke and Mike are such nice people and treated us like family. The House is located in a garden like atmosphere in the middle of a vineyard surrounded by trees, with lots of outdoor furniture and seating throughout the property to relax on. There is also a lookout point with a few Muskoka chairs, an outdoor couch and a bistro table and chairs that looks north up the Okanagan Lake and Naramata (picture attached) that was our favourite relaxing spot. If you are staying in Naramata or Penticton you need to look at this B&B as we highly recommend a stay here. When we go back to the region, we will stay here for sure, money very well spent.

Anniversary Getaway

The property is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious; however, the hostess' rudeness didn't make up for it.  Upon arriving, my partner and I knocked on the house door closest to the parking area, thinking it was the entrance.  She answered but was sarcastic and rude, which set the tone for our stay.

Surprisingly unwelcoming

We hate bed and breakfast properties when travelling due to bad experiences. We took a chance on E"Laysa because of it's availability and convenience for wine touring in Naramata and largely because of of the proprietor "Silke". She was very accommodating during booking and set us up in the 2 King Garden Terrace for the first night and then the 1 King Munsen Garden Suite for the next two nights. She is committed to ensuring clients get the rooms they request and pay for so we had to move after the first night as our Garden Terrace Suite was previously booked.
All rooms, and there are 10, provide for a gourmet breakfast for 2 each morning.
We were in awe of the amenities, the quality of the rooms, the cleaning, the warm and accommodating hosts Silke and Mike who did not make us feel uncomfortable nor did they intrude on our privacy and the calibre of the breakfasts which were served to us in the courtyard.  All-in-all, we fell in love with this hotel and we have made this our destination for a relaxing get-away from daily routine at home. The value for what we received was outstanding considering what other hotels were priced at and the quality of amenities and service provision. Silke clearly puts her heart and soul into this hotel and surrounding property as evidenced by the meticulously manicured lawn, gardens and shrubbery. For an outstanding evening or breakfast view of the entire length of Okanagan Lake from Penticton to Peachland, one has to take a bottle of wine up to the viewpoint on the property where there are outdoor seating areas and table. All I can say is that this has been the best stay we have had in two decades of travelling and we will be back regularly.

Outstanding hotel/guesthouse

Our first time away from kids our Anniversary, owner was so rude got mad at us for checking in early after saying yes to it.  Set the tone for our one night Away... as much as we tried to recoup it ...  we didt even want to stay for breakfast as it was so awkward.  Don’t waste your money. She vaguely apologized but didt comp or try to make up for flipping out.. this was a lot of money to spend for us and sadly wasted our time and night away .  Granted everyone has days but hosting is your business.

Ruined weekend

Set amongst the beautifully landscaped property overlooking the Naramata Bench was this little gem of a B&B. Relaxed atmosphere, great breakfasts every morning. The grounds are impeccable and you can eat breakfast anywhere outside or in.

The rooms were spotless and the beds so comfy.

Not far from the town of Penticton and close to some great wineries.

We would definitely stay again!!!
