Off season and unexpected, Yelena was a very gracious hostess. This is a fully self contained suite, very clean and spacious. Breakfast is self catered but Yelena supplied everything we needed for a light morning meal. Fresh fruit and honey were delightful. It's a real treat to find these b&b's that are not just a bedroom down the hall. Yelena was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. We would definitely stay again. 

A great find!

Although this is listed as a bed and breakfast it was almost more of a self catered unit. We were greeted by our host Alex, with a big smile. He's originally from Kasikstan and English, not being his first language, our conversations were a little stilted but fun! He was so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, showing us our room, bathroom kitchenette and wanting to know what we'd like for breakfast We checked into our room and went out for the afternoon. On our return, the kitchenette was laden with cereal, bread, eggs (fresh from the neighbour's chickens) and lots of wonderful fresh fruit. In the fridge was milk, juice, cheese, butter, yoghurt and jam. Along with a selection of teas and coffee. There was also a pot of locally produced honey on the table with a big bowl of cherries! What we really liked about this was the fact we could get up when we liked, prepare our breakfast at our leisure and sit out on the patio to eat our breakfast whilst enjoying the beautiful view and sunshine.  We had a key to lock both our bedroom door and also the door to the accommodation which appears to be the whole of the lower ground floor of the house.  We imagine that had the other 2 bedrooms been occupied we may have been sharing the bathroom, lounge and kitchenette with other guests which may have been fine but having the place to ourselves felt like a little home from home. Although we cleared up before we left each day we could tell that Alex had been in as the fruit was always replenished and if we bumped into him he always wanted to know if we needed anything. He also told us to help ourselves to any of the veg growing in the garden if we wanted. The place was immaculate. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay!
