You can't top that. The Eaglenest above Duncan is an experience. A beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Everything extremely well maintained, every detail. Selected, exaquisite objects, everything extremely clean. Good bed, beautiful bathroom. The owner, who built the house 20 years ago (?) and lives in the house itself, is not only totally nice and friendly: he also has a sense of humor. Very good breakfast. A pearl of a hotel. HH and BMH Switzerland

You can't top that. 

We were delighted with our stay from start to finish. The location, room and common space were gorgeous, the hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast was sensational. Thank you so much! We highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful in every way

My wife & I stayed 4 days in September. Dave has a beautifully designed, large house guests are welcome to use, including a large billiard table. Spread about are books on Duncan/ Cowichan area. We stayed in the large pictured room, with balcony, lots of window, gorgeous bathroom with jetted tub and separate shower with large rain shower head and strong water flow. What a nice spot to come back to each evening after a day of exploring all the bays and lakes! We will stay there again.

Great place, worth the search

Eaglenest Manor B&B is a relatively new house in a subdivision near Duncan but don't let that put you off! Is is gorgeous, very comfortable and in a nice location- but do be sure to get directions or GPS!  The rooms are lovely, very comfortable beds. You have free range of the house with several lovely sitting areas with fireplaces, a pool table etc.  Breakfast is a do it yourself cold breakfast but the fridge is stocked with everything you would have at home.  I mentioned that we'd stayed here to someone in Victoria who is from Duncan and she said there aren't a lot of nice places to stay in Duncan, so she was curious on whether I'd recommend it.  I told her I recommend it wholeheartedly!  Even if I were a local it would be a nice getaway for a romantic wine tasting weekend.

Beautiful!

I stayed at the Eaglenest Manor July 22 - 24, 2017 and Dave was amazing. One of our friends cancelled her room last minute, and he upgraded us! Not only was he out of pocket the funds from her no show but he generously offered us more!
The house was great, all the amenities of a Executive home and all open to guest to use during the stay.

Just lovely, best place to experience the Cowichan Valley!

Was so impressed with the house and Dave and his home that we after our first stay of two nights we had two nights in another B & B and then returned. 

Watching the night sky from the hot tub whilst drinking a complementary bottle of wine was a great way to end one of the evenings after a light hearted game of pool. 
We even tried to teach ourselves the piano with poor results. 

Did not see the eagle nest. However the bald eagle did fly by on several occasions. 

Breakfast was self service but a huge range to choose from.
