Nice clean rooms. Nice swimming pool and lush garden. Very professional, friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was included in the room charge and it was a very generous breakfast.

After leaving Kampot due to a bad experience, Masada was the perfect escape. 

The staff were so kind and welcoming and when we made a complaint about the air con, they had someone there so quickly and it was fixed. 

I was also unwell during the stay and the staff were so considerate and wanted to help as much as they could.

The rooms were beautiful and clean and comfortable and the pool and amenities were wonderful.. it was just what the doctor ordered!


Unfortunately we left after only one night due to construction works on the building next door. But this is nothing the Masada is responsible for. The Masada itself has a nice green garden with a very good pool and clean bungalows. The breakfast consists of fresh fruits, good bread, eggs etc., nothing to complain at all. From the breakfast terrace you can see even the sea. Restaurant and Bar are available at resorts next door. The Masada offered breakfast only. Overall highly recommendable for the price/value offered.

Perfect, just what was needed

The perfect way to unwind 

Lovely green place in the hills of Kep

Lovely bungalow, great setting, nice clean pool. The lovely English speaking girl made our stay a delight, until, we found we had a kettle in the room and mugs, no coffee or milk though, when we asked for coffee were told that the boss didn’t want to spend the extra money on coffee for the rooms, no budget. How sad! To add insult to injury we hired a moto from the resort which was god and cheap but after an early night we were woken by a guy shining a torch through our window accusing us of stealing the bike, obviously we hadn’t. He seemed to find it funny!  There are a lot of nice places to stay around here, personally I wouldn’t stay here again.

Pool : nice view but dirty.
Service: The owner will turn off the phone if you complain 
Bed : hard as a steel. 
Air-conditioning : not new ( that's why you can't get proper °c 

What's good? 
Beautiful photos beautiful presentation. 

The guard will shut the gate at 9 pm and you have to call and wait for minutes at the gate while getting beaten by mosquitoes. 

Avoid if you don't want stress in your life. After all, what's the  point of paying that much for a bad service and dirty pool. 

Advice:  service and quality is your success in hospitality industry. 

Go here if you want to waste time and money 

This would have been a good review, except management showed complete disregard for guests and their safety. Arriving after afternoon at the beach around 8.30pm, the gate to property was locked. No intercom or guard at gate. Shouting didn't help. Phoned hotel at listed number, woman from day shift said she would call security to let us in. 10 minutes later, door still locked and no guard. Phoned again, told same story. 10 minutes later, still locked. Phoned once more, same reply. 10 minutes later still nothing. Tried to phone again, she had turned her phone off. So now we stuck and hotel refusing to take our calls. Imagine an elderly couple stuck in the heat and on an unlit road at night in the middle of nowhere. After even more time, a moped appears and the guy starts just shouting over the wall. Eventually a guard appears and opens the door. We are given no explanation, and once inside I see that the guard was playing pool and ignoring us outside. Shocking behaviour and response from reception. Avoid this place and stay over the road at Khmer Hands. Helped us out and also a great guy.

When we arrived we were told that our reservation by agoda wasn't valid, also we'd already paid. The staff didn't speak any English, we had to talk to a woman on the phone. They offered us to stay one night but we had to pay more than double. So better choose one of the plenty of other options in kep.
