Hotel Tryavna Complex

I was looking for a central location and Hotel Tryavna was on my way (this time I decided to choose on spot). I was quite sceptic at first as this is a hotel built during the old socialist times, however I was nicely surprised to find a well refurbished property with perfect services and all of this for no money. I strongly reccomend it, it is the perfect choice for a short stay in Tryavna.

A small, pretty welcoming hotel located right in the city center, very close to the historic quarter.
The common spaces are very clean, the rooms less. The cleaning ladies are not very present at duty - I found dust on the furniture, the windows are not washed outdoors, so also the sills.
As for the rooms, they are small, the baths the same, but for us it was enough. Unfortunately, the rooms do not have air conditioning, not all are equipped with a refrigerator and only a few have a balcony.
Furniture is outdated and should be reconditioned.
Staff are nice enough, but they do have problems with foreign languages.
The Internet conections is very good, and the hotel offers free parking (but the parking space is very limited).
Inside the hotel is also a restaurant that offers good food at more than reasonable prices.
The hotel also has a relaxation center, which offers massage sessions, jacuzzi, sauna at good prices.

As for the town of Tryavna, I can only say that it is very, very beautiful. Undoubtedly, it's worth visiting, and I recommend it with warmth.

We were at the hotel for a long weekend. The hotel has a perfect location in the center of Tryavna. The hotel is an average one. The rooms were very small and not modern. It was clean although. We were with a pack with breakfast and dinner and I would say that the food was good. The parking was very small, but there was plenty of space to park in the streets close to the hotel.

Nice location

The hotel location is perfect, but the hotel itself is very dark, not enough light inside. Our room was very small, quite claustrophobic. The tv in the room is at least 15 years old, but the most important, the hotel staff is not very welcoming. The breakfast is ok, nothing exquisite. 
My overall impression is that this hotel doesn't offer decent service for the money asked for the stay. If you have an option, please choose another hotel in city center.

I definitely liked hotel location and its pet friendliness. The interior has some classic Balkan elements - I liked the successful use of wood in the rooms. There is also spa, but it comes at extra cost (better to say quite an extra cost - 20 BGN per visit).
In general the hotel follows the low cost airlines principles - pretty low room rate, but high charges for anything additional and that way finally it turns a bad deal. Cleanliness is compromised - the room balcony was not cleaned for months. Breakfast was ridiculous -low quality products in a ''comple menu", which made us not use the restaurant for any other meal. I would rather recommend to use any of the plenty small hotels in the town. And also keep in mind that it is worth visiting the city of Tryavna. In difference to the hotel it is renovated and pretty attractive.

Decaying glory from the 70s

This is the most terrible "hotel" I've ever been in. The furnishings in the rooms are old, very narrow and dirty. There is a wardrobe, which is more of a monument. There are no shelves, and the decorative pillows of the beds are housed inside. Totally unusable. The room was cold. The heating radiator was barely felt in the evening, and it was cold in the other times. Food - almost nothing to eat. Even in salads half of the products were spoiled.
I would not recommend it to anyone and I would never come back there!
