Had a wonderful holiday at the end of August 2019 at Sun Village. Very spacious and light apartment. Cvetan on reception made our holiday special as he was so helpful and friendly.We had never been to Bulgaria before and he gave us some great suggestions. 

The two negatives were that not much going on in the pool bar (no activities/entertainment) which did not promote interaction. Also no recycling facilities therefore so much plastic/paper just going in the normal bins.

But otherwise a great holiday and Sun Village was great value for money.

Lovely big apartments, very helpful reception staff and quiet despite being central

Family of 4 for 15 nights in august. Late arrival ouro room wasn't ready but ended up with a, two bedroom pool view apartment with a huge balcony, as a result so didn't mind. Room spacious 2 bathrooms with great showers and always hot water. Beds quite hard, we put the spare duvets under the bed sheet to help, also stopped sheet from sliding off. Room cleaned every day always plenty of clean towels and clean sheets. Modern TV had lots of channels in english too. Pool and grounds are well kept, pool cleaned every night with a robot cleaner.no sun parasols around pool but plenty of shady spots or buy one in shop for 10 lev. Ate twice for snack at restaurant and was satisfied with quality and price and staff always pleasant. Shop opposite entrance and flower street only 10 min walk away. Plenty of places to eat and drink near by. We disagree with the last negagitve review think it was a little unfair.therlse aoartnemts are better than a lot of them in sunny beach and just typical Bulgarian.beach 20 min stroll, sun loungers and parasols are 10 lev each per day.sellers sell donuts 4lev and fruit pots for 5 lev, tried both and are lovely. 
Lovely clean sandy beach with plenty bars around and lots of water sports available. Aqua paradise aqua Park is the best one to go to and would definitely recommend.the German bar down the front 'de party hutte'is a great place to spend a night, good fun and quite loud and interactive. We booked through balkan and our rep was helpful when needed. Would return in future and would reccomend to friends.

Great apartments

We found the apartment very spacious and clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating and the pool was temperate and clean. It's a good distance from the night life so as not to disturb and only a 10 minute walk (I've long legs) from the beach. We booked through Balkan holidays and the rep was a lovely chap called Aleko. The introduction meeting was very informative and not in anyway a hard sell, far from it. I would highly recommend it. We'd probably come back.

First of all this is not a hotel or an apartment complex,it's residential time share kip,they rent rooms out to holiday makers for the owners.we arrived got out in to our room,the next day asked to go to smaller room as we didn't book that room.five hours later asked to move again then tried to charge us extra for a pool view, horrible rude reception staff grins at ya when asking them why they have ruined a day of our holidays.bulgaria is a gorgeous place but if ya judge it on sun village you will hate it,it's like your in the 80s communist Russia,our room had the owners clothes and belongings in it we had to live out of suitcase then when owner came back moved again. Lots of holes in the toilet walls and the area outside is delapidated and very run down
i would not stay here for free.
so if your visiting Bulgaria pay for luxury hotel and enjoy this gorgeous country and  stay away from sun village they like to take advantage of there customers and rude and racist staff passing comments about been Irish,7days left and the first holiday I can't wait to go home

Horrible place

ready other reviews put us all off coming . but it was really good all staff are real friendly the apartments are spotless and we had clean bedding and clean towels every day. the only thing that spoilt our holiday was that my friend had her jumpsuit stolen and my other friend had cigars witch was a present stolen .this happened on our last day .     I also think that my case lock had been forced . because I couldn't get in to it and had to get a staff member to cut the lock off. it a shame its a bad ending to a otherwise great holiday.

lovely apartments

After reading the reviews from 2018 I couldn’t say I was excited about coming. They have obviously taken the comments on board and addressed the major issues. The pool is spotless now and cleaned every night with a guy doing regular checks during the day. Our 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious with all 3 AC units working perfectly. Local to Flower Street which is the hub and the beach. Would I come back? Hell yes for the price we paid! Any questions then ask on here as I’m not leaving until 22nd August. 👍

Don’t go by 2018 Reviews!

Contrary to previous reviews we have just returned from sun village and found the rooms very clean and spa pious. Staff came every day to empty all the bins in apartments. Pool extremely clean due to a robot cleaner every night. Very good value for money.

Miss

Stayed here for 1 week lovely place rooms are big and clean great pool which is always cleaned food ok but no atmosphere no entertainment or nothing bar shuts early so have to go out and drink and don't sell kids drinks just fizzy pop and only tea coffee water for breakfast menu if b and b  won't go back only because have kids and need entertainment

Sun village

Myself and 3 friends came here for 1 week, arrived and staff where very rude and unfriendly. Man on the bar was also very rude and unfriendly, when we first went up to our room the door had been broken into so had to get someone to fix to realise both balcony doors where the same and did not close. Felt unsafe.
Also to make things worse we paid a £84 deposit before we left and never got it back making it over priced for what it was. I’d recommend the L&B hotel over the road went here for breakfast every morning and was friendly and well priced
One more thing stay away from you the booth down stairs that exchanges travel money he tells you the exchange rate which seemed good to then check my bank and see he had taken a fair bit more

Very disappointing

My son told me to book the sun village he has stay here before with his mates was a bit worried at first after reading reviews but on arrival check in was very quick rooms lovely and clean big  two bedroom  apartment two shower two toilets kitchen was nice lots of room lovely big pool area nice short walk to the main strip will come again
