A great option for travelers looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Be aware that it is located in a small city about 20 km away from Ouro Preto, thus a 20-min drive must be taken into account if you plan to wine and dine in Ouro Preto. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the facilities looked newish. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options, one of the best we saw among pousadas (guesthouses). The best of our short stay was the kind and attentive service of Jefferson, who was on duty for the evening. He lit the fire pit so we could enjoy the evening outdoors and kept tending to the fire every 15 minutes or so, keeping us warm and comfortable.
