Parque Hotel Holambra

This hotel is so picturesque. It is kind of off the beaten track, yet for me this is what makes it so perfect. It is a family run hotel, in its early stages of development. One of the son's runs the business, and he does an amazing job. He is very helpful and if anything was not quite right with my stay, he would try everything possible to rectify the situation. The rooms are very spacious, with high ceilings. This is much better for the hot summer months in Brazil. I like the modern, sterile look of the interior. The bathroom is wonderful and clean, with a very powerful shower. Personally, I would like some local shampoos or bath soaps, but I tend to be picky about such items! It would also be nice to have cable TV or an equivalent, for us international guests, but hopefully this will come with time. The breakfast is superb! An array of fruits (many of which are grown in the grounds of the hotel), fresh juices and on occasions there was home cooked cakes made by the son's girlfriend - amazing! There is a good selection of meats and cheeses. There is also a pool which is essential for the heat in Brazil, and an area to relax. What is special about this hotel is that it has so much potential to offer guests everything. There is a BBQ area which guests can use. The hotel can host gatherings. It also organizes collections to and from the airport. The fact that this hotel is situated on a lake makes the stay even more special. There are many restaurants and bars in Holambra, and these are a taxi/drive away. This is a wonderful hotel that offers great customer service with great food and accommodation, at a very reasonable price. On my next trip to the area, I will visit it without a doubt!
