127 reviewsStayed for 2 nights. Excellent location within the city ramparts and easy to navigate by car when locating the property. Just 10/15 min. walk to the centre and Menin Gate. Magda and her neighbour who helps with breakfast were very friendly and helpful. This is a true small B&B with breakfast in her kitchen and dining room. Unbelievable breakfast is provided from bacon/eggs to many pastries, cereals and breads and an array of meats and cheese and fruit and jams. Whilst we were just a couple the room did have a third bed but should warn that it is in a separate building up a metal staircase that may not be easy if you have any disability. There was good air con as well and good size bathroom and shower and all rooms overlook a well kept small garden. The area was very quiet and clean and the whole town was remarkably clean. Parking is available on the street and is free from 6pm to 9am and Magda will provide a blue disk that allows 2 hours free parking and you can park for free just outside the city ramparts nearby. Plenty to do in and around Ypres if interested in WW1 including the In Flanders Field Museum in the Centre and the Passchendale 1917 Museum. Found nothing negative
