Salons Driekoningen Hotel

We arrived at the hotel just before check in time and our room was ready for us to occupy. We were upgraded as they were not full. The room had a king size bed and was adequate for our needs although there was no tea and coffee making facility but bottled water was available. Although I had read from previous reviews that the food was expensive we decided to have our evening meal here as we had visited Veurne and did not want to return for our supper. We booked a table for 7.30pm and was very pleased with the ambience of the restaurant and the menu. We chose asparagus with salmon and then grilled scampi with pasta. I am a chef and this meal was one of the best I have experienced in a long time. For the quality of the food and presentation it was not over expensive and f you like food I would recommend you eat here. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The menu was not in English but there was a French version and the lady was happy to explain dishes to us. The outside of the hotel has been very well landscaped and I would really like to return here in the summer to appreciate sitting outside with a drink or two.
