Top location on the second floor above a beautiful piano store ! 
Close to the historic center with spacious and clean rooms. 
We were lucky there was an event that evening in the building, with beautiful jazz music.

Wonderful stay!

Very cool theme for a hotel and very nice room. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer.

We quite liked the idea of a B&B located above a piano store. The rooms were flawless, nicely decorated, clean and just all around pleasent. The staff and owners couldn't have been more friendly and the atmosphere was really comfortable and relaxing. When we had our breakfast in the morning downstairs and someone was playing the piano. We're not very educated when it comes to classical music but found this to be really enriching to our stay. As the owners told us, sometimes there are even small concerts in the store that you can attend.
Lovely stay. We would go there again without hesitation.

Perfect if you are not into big hotels

An interesting hotel. Communication prior to visit was very poor but welcome was fine. Clean and comfortable rooms but on second floor with no lift and steep stairs. Good shower in a spacious bathroom.

Good location

So we arrived in the afternoon after a good 12 minute walk from the Ghent station. Realized that this accommodation is literally above a piano store, quite interesting.

The host was helpful and had maps handy to ensure we have a good stay and see everything we can. The rooms were beautifully (read tastefully) furnished and the overall quality was quite fancy. The in-room amenities, the towels, everything was available and it was very nice. 

We didn't have breakfast but the cafe that is owned by the host looked great. 

Overall, a great and comfortable place that's only 5 mins by walk away from the main square. 

The only downside was the stairs that took us to our room situated on floor 2.

Fancy BnB!

We stayed here for one night whilst cycling through Belgium for a long weekend. Lovely quaint and quirky hotel away from the busy centre but a close walk to the action.
The rooms were well kitted out with quality facilities and comfy beds.
Breakfast was some kind of strange culinary experience with random trays of nuts and yoghurt then cheese and ham but all delightfully presented by the enthusiastic host.
Definitely a place to stay again. You have to walk through a piano store to get to your room which was three flights up and quite a slog if you're knackered! 
Lovely place.

Quirky Hotel close to the centre

We booked this stay at short notice because it looked fantastic, and on the whole it was.  The property is an independent hotel which is what we like, and is very clean and well presented. The room we stayed in (Billie)  was very nice, our bed was very comfy, but was 2 singles pushed together. There was air con and an adjacent communal refreshment area. The bathroom was very nice but needs a bit of an update (the shaving mirror was cracked and the light on it didn't work) 

The meats, cheese and fruit breakfast was very good with the eggs being cooked to order by the friendly staff. 

On any other week this room would have been perfect. Unfortunately the owners neglected to tell us the road outside had been dug up for drain replacement, and the road crews start work at 06:30 in the morning. Without exaggeration the whole building shook and the noise was unbearable as they jack hammered the road @ 06:42.   This review could easily have been higher had we been given notice of how early the works started, but there was no mention of it, all we got when checking in was, "can you pay now"  I now know why they were so keen on getting payment !  I would've happily changed hotel on day 2.
This would have been a great place to return to other than I couldn't trust there not to be an issue that was being ignored.

Very noisy stay (not music related)

This B&B is situated in a very central location in Gent which makes it an attractive place  to stay. But there is the disadvantage of some noise when opening the windows, which is necessary since there is no cooling system in the room.
Our room was a very spacious one (a suite) with a modern bathroom. As for decoration, we found it all a bit dark and gloomy. With some more fresh colors and furniture it would be a lot lighter and nicer.
The bed was hyper comfortable.
Hygiene was just ok, could have been a bit more thorough (dust coming from under the bed).
Breakfast in the nice cafe downstairs is absolutely good and fresh. Tasteful bread, good yoghurt with fresh fruit. Unfortunately no egg in the continental option.
All in all an average B&B on a top location.
