139 reviewsFor the past 15 years we have stayed in another hotel in Obergurgl, but since they couldn't ( rather wouldn't after 15 years of family holidays !! ) accommodate us this year we tried the Gotthard Zeit. What luck we did. Accommodated our slightly odd dates with no problem. Room comfy, food excellent, exceptionally wide wine list, nice bar area. Fantastic location with very easy ski in/out and nice locker room and lockers themselves. Beautiful to sit on the balcony with the sunshine overlooking the mountain with delicious apres ski buffet. Service was also very good. I am afraid I forgot until now to write this review and so our waiter's name escapes me but he was so friendly, helpful and attentive as was his wife who also worked there. The only minor gripes were the room was very hot and having to pay for tap water at mealtimes. Neither were dealbreakers. Otherwise we had a thoroughly excellent time and certainly won't consider returning to our previous hotel.
