Churingas

This is a very special place, just off the main highway, that I would recommend to any traveller. Mine hosts, Joan and Roy, made me feel so welcome that I felt part of their extended family. From joining Joan to feed the resident ducks and chooks, to being a "sounding board" to Roy on their current accommodation upgrades, you were never going to be left out. It felt special to sit around and join in the conversation while meals were being prepared. I was able to watch as my breakfast was being made while looking out over the property listening to all of the morning chorus of birds. It brought back so many memories of my earlier time in a county setting. My breakfast was a hearty meal of local produce (great yellow eggs from the resident "girls") that kept me sated well into the day. It was just magic to go to sleep with the background of night noises from the local habitat and then to wake up with much the same chorus. My room was excellent and included a spa bath & shower as well as air con and ceiling fan. I will return to this "home away from home", but will hopefully be able to bring my wife so that she can sample the same great country hospitality. Thanks so much Joan and Roy.
