Hats off to owners Karen and Roger for lovingly restoring a very old Tasmanian house and keeping the taste of the interior with something of times past. My wife and I enjoyed the chain flush toilet, the bath with it's iron feet and the gentle squeaks of the boards underfoot. It was quiet and cozy, and the amenities (including the selection of foodstuffs left behind by other guests) added to the buildings rusty feel. Less a heritage house; more like visiting an old family home.
