Very nice and clean hotel. It was first time when I stand in this hotel and I love it, I'll return. The room is comfortable, there everything is new. Breakfast is wonderful, tasty and enough. View from balcony to city and mountains is perfect and very romantic.

Wonderful place with cosy atmosphere, tasty breakfast and comfortable bed. Water 💦 is clean. People who meet us were kind.

The people who work in this hotel are the kindest, sweetest people we have met. We only stayed three days but despite the language barrier we felt like Monica and her mom are our friends. Paranzen, the owner, is incredible. She gave us advice on where to go and was constantly helping us anyway we needed help. She gave us herbal tea when we came back from our walk and it had rained. The hotel itself is very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is more than generous and the garden and sitting area are lovely. The view from our room was soothing. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Part of the hotel is still under construction and we expect it to be amazing once it’s done. They have a beautiful pool and the rest of the construction looks promising. The hotel’s location is perfect as it’s a walking distance from the center of town. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay in Ijevan.

People who make a difference

After a year or more we stayed a night in this hotel again and it become even more comfortable. It is clean, new, quait place but close to center and staff is very friendly. As I have mentoned view is beautiful.

And a great view

We stayed here for a night during a hiking trip. The room was in a wing of the house that was still under construction with bare concrete and wires poking out. The room was very basic and could have done with an extra reading light. On the other hand people were very friendly and helpful did our laundry and breakfast was nice. Ijevan isnt a tourist destination at all so not sure one could have found a better place.

Mixed experience

Nice B&B overlooking Ijevan with a nice outside garden where one could enjoy a cold beer (but at nearby corner store) with a light breeze in a June evening. Rooms are clean and pretty basic with a good shower with plenty of hot water, albeit a little cramped. Seems to be the place that hiking guides bring their groups which is a good recommendation

Comfortable hotel still under construction

This property is currently in the process of expanding so there was major building activity happening during our stay. Having said that it did not affect us in anyway. Our host was very helpful and friendly and provided a lovely breakfast. The place was very clean and comfortable.
We really enjoyed the gardens and decided to cook for ourselves in the outdoor area as one of our group was feeling unwell.We had everything we needed to cook a meal and even stayed dry when a thunderstorm hit.
Would love to come back when the new eating area is complete.

Outdoor dining with good views

We stayed here only for one night. The hotel is in good location, it is very good view. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the bathroom well equipped, wifi worked perfectly. Next time I will choose the same hotel.

A great place to relax 

We were staying here for 2 nights, we were 6 people. What was surprising was that there were 3 real bedrooms in the room, each with individual bathrooms, TV, and AC !
The room was very clean, very spacious, and looked very new. I was surprised to see such a nice hotel, which still has a guest house look.
There was a big living room in our room, with a big TV, very fast wifi, and a small kitchen.

The breakfast was not that great, but was still okay considering the location. It was a traditional Armenian breakfast, not a wide range of things to eat. There's no buffet, everything is already on your table, you have to tell in advance at which hour you want to have your bf, they will prepare your table. Several things were forgotten on the 2 days (hot water, jam, coffee, etc.) but it won't affect my rating since the staff was wonderful, always smiling, they make you feel like you stay at their own house. The owner even came to get us on the road as soon as we entered Ijevan ! What a nice touch !
The only really minor point is the road to get to the hotel, which is a dirt road... I hope it will be paved sometimes. There was still construction ongoing in the hotel, but that was not disturbing.

All in all, I would definitely come back to this B&B if I ever come back to this area, and would recommend it to everyone visiting this area.

A wonderful location in the middle of Armenia

Easy walking distance to the town center. B&B Kamar is in a beautiful private setting with dozens of fruit trees. The rooms are very new, spacious, and clean. We had a balcony with beautiful views of Ijevan. The breakfasts are fresh, tasty and ample sized. The staff are very friendly and courteous. We feel very welcome here and would return in the future.
