The hotel is a lovely large building and several smaller cabins behind it. The staff was very helpful, especially Laura in reception who helped me get my boarding pass online. The restaurant had good food and breakfast was buffet with many good choices. It is close to the park. Very enjoyable stay. 

Lush garden setting and lovely hotel

Hotel staff is excellent, rooms clean, bed comfortable.
Breakfast was a pass lot of choices not interesting. Ground pretty, nice pool area with small play area for children.  Common areas very clean. Breakfast buffet included restaurant serves dinner lunch snack bar vegetable pie good.

Comfortable and clean

This hotel was truly an orchid jewel....The rooms were spacious, the location was quite near the falls, I cannot recommend it enough.  Rooms were clean and neat, food was good....staff very friendly....would stay again in a heart beat.

Beautiful setting

Here are our thoughts.
Positives: Front desk and restaurant staff very helpful; lovely pool area; price was right.
Not-so-positives: Rooms pretty rustic; food very mediocre; and quite far from town so no alternatives for dining.

Adequate place

Of our two nights stay, my wife returned to find a thief in our room; she apparently startled him after he had just entered, for we found nothing missing. Of 20+ countries visited (several over 3 weeks stays) as independent travellers, we never had this before. Orquideas totally lacks in security; makes one wonder if such was an "inside job" among the staff. Food rates a 4, rooms very dated, but good A/C & H/C water.

Theifs Break in your room

We stayed in this hotel around 1 year ago now. What a terrible experience we have had. I would advised anyone to go out for lunch/ dinner as food in the hotel is horrible. 
On our last night we came about around 10pm and we needed to pack our bags and get ready to travel back to Buenos Aires next day. When we arrived in our room we had a issue with the key. We walked back to reception and we have been given new key. Same issue again. After 4 journeys back to reception they finally came with us. We we informed that the battery has run out and the only (!) person who has the actual key to the room in not there. He was trying to call them , no answer. After 20 min wait we were given key to next door so we had somewhere to sit down. We could't do anything else as all of our items were still next door. After midnight we have finally managed to access our room. Next morning during check out when asked how was our stay we have mentioned our troubles from the night before. No apology, no sympathy. Receptionist simply answered " You had a room, didn't you? So what's the problem?". I was amazed with luck of customer service skills and luck of sympathy for the inconvenience caused. 
If you have a choice book somewhere else!

Terrible experience

The hotel is beautiful, relaxing and wonderful. Our room was spacious and clean and the food was good. It felt like a spa getaway. We had breakfast and sat and just enjoyed friends company over many cups of perfect coffee. 
I would come again just to relax if I could

A welcome refuge

We had one night at the falls so booked a cabana here. The place is like a bungalow and had 2 bedrooms for the 4 of us. It was very comfortable as we were exhausted from traveling all night. The grounds are beautiful with all the lovely flowers. Breakfast was good and so was the food at the little Café. We ended up ordering some empanadas to take to the airport as no dinner was served. They were delicious. Also the staff at front desk were very helpful. We asked lots of questions about the falls as we went to both sides. They were able to secure the same driver for us 2 days in a row. Also they stored out suitcases since we checked out earlier and went to the falls. My only complaint was the musty smell in the cabana. My allergies were acting up from the mustiness. Other than that a great place! Pool is beautiful too but we didn’t have time to use it. 

Comfortable hotel

My dad, boyfriend, and I all stayed here for two nights. Great location in relevance to the the airport and the actual falls. This hotel is a bit outside of the main town, but there are taxis readily available for 200 pesos (about $4 USD) that the front desk will help you with. The hotel itself was very clean. Great pool atmosphere. The rooms itself were a tad bit dated, but it didn’t bother us. They were clean,
with aircon and TV. Maximillion at the front desk was an absolute rock star. From helping us check in, to making restaurant recommendations, and then calling the restaurant to make the actual reservation, he truly went above and beyond. He’s the type of person you would want working at the hotel front desk and helping you with your needs. For the price, location, and service, this hotel truly is a great and affordable option while visiting the falls. 

Great for Two Nights

We stayed in a five-person cabana-bungalow. The whole place smelled very stale, like they hadn't aired it out in months. There was also a frog in our bathroom. There was also some crazy music playing until 3 or 4 in the morning during one night of our stay. 

The hotel's common areas are much nicer looking than the room. They also don't have the most helpful staff.
