128 Hotel

I stayed in 128 Hotel for 3 nights. I paid 5USD for a dormitory with 3 queen size bed and private shower in the room which is awesome! The reception was really helpful the location is great as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in 128 again if I visit Dalat next time.

Bang for the buck!

We stayed here for one night when we arrived in Da Lat. It was the cheapest room we could find on booking.com for around 8.50 USD for a double private room, so we didn't expect a lot, however the shower was freezing cold, the mattress was rock solid and the room was extremely cold during the night. 

Also in the morning we ordered breakfast down at reception which was strangely ignored, communication with the staff wasn't great. On a lighter note they were friendly, we were given free hot water to make cup of tea and coffee. The lady at reception tried to arrange our bus to pick us up from the hostel as we had heavy bags. 

Don't expect much. 

Was first given a good clean room, but it was as dark as a prison cell. No natural light. The pictures the hotel use to advertise the room were from the room I eventually got. That room was comfortable and clean. Best bed in Vietnam, soft. However, it cost $8 as opposed to $6:50. Great location on a busy road and also used by Viatnamese who don't know how to behave at 5am.

Most rooms have windows, but facing a dirty wall 12" away.

Room OK for 7$/night but someone went through my bag while we were out. Lost 2.000.000VND(80€). Door was locked when we arrived so must have been staff. Owner was sketchy and didn't really care when we told him about it.

Do not recommend.

Theft 

The room was what you would expect no frills but fine for the price.

The issue came when checking out the room was priced in $$$ but on check out only dong was accepted!! This would have been fine but the exchange rate was higher than usual meaning we were overcharged for the room! 

Also the breakfast wasn't up to scratch they promised fruit but it seemed they were not prepared and didn't have any to offer.
