There is a reason this hostel has won so many awards! The team are all great and so friendly and helpful. My partner and I arrived at 6am and emailed ahead to let them know, to which they said we could stay on the very comfortable coach until our room was ready, which was a godsend after a long sleeper coach!  Fun Tours organised through the hostel, so everything was at ease. Not a party hostel, but it certainly draws a good crowd, sociable atmosphere and chilled, but not dead! Everything spotless, free coffee and tea, a fantastic breakfast, the family dinners you have to try, endless home cooked delicious food!  Beds are comfy too!! When my partner was ill in his bed, Joe came up to help with a hot ginger, lime tea, which did the trick! Thank you so much to everyone! If I'm back in Dalat, we'll certainly stay there!

Very nice stay. They helped me to change my bus ticket to hmc with short notice. 
It would have been nice to know that they had 24hr service.. it said in the confirmation mail that the reception opened at 7am, so I waited 2hrs to go there as I arrived 5am.

Best hostel Ive been in Vietnam!

Had a great time here people so friendly and helped me when I had no idea where i was going. Family dinner was excellent, so much food and great Vietnamese cooking. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy! Only issue I had was there are no locks on the rooms but they give you a padlocked draw you can keep your valuables in which was just as good i suppose! 

Family dinner was great

On arriving at Cozy Nook at 4 am off the bus to Ho Chi Minh, disorientated and tired. After ringing the bell I was welcomed with a pillow and a blanket and a bench to sleep on until check in in the morning.

Waking up in the common area and being given a lovely breakfast of fresh fruit and bread with homemade jams and mulberry juice was perfect. The staff really want you to have a nice time in Da Lat and after finishing breakfast came and chatted and asked what I would like to do that day, providing me with a map and directions. 

The hostel is clean with comfy beds and has the best toilet and shower facilities in comparison to other hostels I have stayed in. Each evening there is a family meal which I would thoroughly recommend. 

Even when there was the issue of extending my stay another night to find the hostel was full. The staff and owner could not have been more accommodating. They were super apologetic and almost instantly had solutions which were offered. I opted to stay in one of their apartments across town which was beautiful. Photos included below. If you are in Da Lat this is the place to stay!!!

The place to Stay in Da Lat

Great hostel with great atmosphere! Large rooms, lots of nice people, and by far has the best staff that I encountered in Vietnam.  Every night they have a traditional family dinner, which was really good (ate their every night in Dalat). A great place to meet new people from all over the world.

Amazing hostel!

They are very friendly, remember your name, and are extremely accommodating. I came in with a foot injury and had trouble walking and using stairs. They carried all of my luggage to my room for me as well as brought down my serving of the family dinner. Also a great place make friends. As a solo traveler, this was greatly appreciated. 

Great Customer Service 

Centrally Located in Da Lat. Recommend the family dinner that takes place each evening, hostel cooks communal dinner for all residents that sign up. Great way to meet people and a fantastic meal too!
Staff very friendly and helpful. Surpassed the high expectations we already had!

Brilliant Hostel

Great location, clean, social, accommodating. Lucky and the rest of the staff are very compassionate hosts who make the best of your stay. They will give you recommendations to your hearts content. The rooms are clean and spacious, no a/c but who needs it at 5000ft. We saw a live concert of piano and violin and it was incredible. The family dinners provide a great atmosphere.

Best hostel I've been to

I went travelling around Asia 2 years ago and I remember this particular Hostel being the best I have ever stayed at so I made sure I booked this place again when I returned to Vietnam. They have this meal called the family Meal which is a great way to get together and talk to people and it describes the place perfectly ‘family”. That’s what it feels like the staff are so friendly and warm. I came through the door and I was shocked to see the person at reception recognise me after 2 years . Considering all the visitors they must have had over this period to see that he had remembered me and were generally pleased I had comeback left a profound effect on me but at the family meal I was completely blown away. I saw them bring out this huge cake and I thought it was someone’s birthday but they announced that the cake was for me as I had returned after 2 years. I can’t believe they took the time and effort to do this. My only negative is that I could only stay here for a few nights before I had to go. This hostel is truly a unique place and I hope in the future I can see my Da Lat family for a 3rd time. Next time I will book a longer stay :o).
