I can not say enough good about this hotel. The place was extremely clean. Our room, hallways, pool and breakfast area. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. The girl at the front desk went out of her way to get us an early check in. We had to attend a wedding and needed the room to get ready. She even upgraded the room for no extra charge. Highly recommend this hotel.

Highly Recommend

We stayed at this location while visiting a friend and going to the state fair. 
I can say that it was a pleasant stay.  I used the app to pick my room and to get the digital key.  Both were ready once I arrived.  The front desk was nice, and the hotel was clean.  Our room was clean, and really didn't have any issues with it.  The breakfast was very good.  The location was good and quiet, as stores and restaurants weren't that far away.  I would stay here again if back in the area.  

First Time!!

This Hampton Inn met our needs and was very comfortable, the best of three hotel stays on this trip.  Beds and room cleanliness are our first priority.  Breakfast selection seemed just a little below Hampton's usual.

August Hampton Inn Syracuse

I gave this hotel one star. That star belongs to Emily at the front desk. She was hospitable, welcoming and cheery! She was responsive and attentive.
This hotel is filthy….at best. Upon arrival to our room, we noticed that the carpet was not just stained, it was sticky. There was not a chance we would have taken our shoes off. 
There we splatters of who knows what all over the wallpaper.
The bathroom had some sort of brownish/red substance all over the back of the door. There were small hairs stuck to the door as well.
Dust and dirt were on the floors. 
I should also mention that this does not seem like a safe area. When we were in the parking lot (broad daylight) the police were apprehending a couple of guys and putting them in the back of their cars. We rode around looking for another hotel and there was police activity at two other neighboring hotels. We opted to go to the Marriott Downtown Syracuse.
We had to check out and find another hotel to stay in. We were only in Syracuse for two nights for a nephew’s graduation. You can imagine our disappointment after having flown all day.
I frequent hotels in the Hilton family and this has to be the worst room I have had thus far.
Again, kudos to Emily for being so wonderful. She is an asset to the Hilton family!

Filthy, Disgusting and Unsafe

stayed overnight returning from Geneva to Albany.   We try to pick Hampton Inns when we travel and this one did not disappoint.  Emily at the front desk had the best attitude and smile of anyone I can remember.  Pool was great,  hotel was clean,  we didn't eat breakfast,  but the coffee was great.  Thanks for a pleasant overnight.  

Nice, clean and friendly.

Fantastic short 2 night stay in one of the cleanest Hampton Inns that I have ever stayed in. Very dog friendly with nice dog walking areas and waste disposable stations. 
The front desk lady was super friendly, always there with a smile as were all the staff we interacted with. 
Will be our “go to” stay when in the area for sure.

Air conditioner did not function correctly. Could not switch rooms for hotel was booked up. Hot in room Clean but needed maintenance. Employees were outstanding and polite.  Breakfast was very nice and accommodating. 

Nice but needs maintenance

Everyone is great. Susie at the front desk amazing. Figured out our situation and accommodated us, no problem. She was professional and friendly. Thank you Susie!! Our room is great, everything we expect from Hampton. Quiet, nice, and comfortable.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good, it had enough variety to satisfy most. Very close to Carrier circle. Minutes from the I 90.

Worth the Stay

Day trip. Staff was extremely  friendly at check in. However  there was several issues with cleanliness in the hotel. Our room was 320 a two bed "queen" but clearly  full beds, the mirrors weren't clean, the toilet wasn't clean, the tray between the beds was filthy and we even found a large marshmallow underneath the bed!! The bathroom faucet wasn't attached properly. Everytime you turn it on sprayed everywhere (mirror, sink area and floor). The breakfast was excellent with many choices.  However, the key card was deactivated before 11am, in fact we had issues with the key card deactivating through the whole trip. Finally we were declined by the hotel's front desk staff for late check out. Stating they don't offer it on Sundays. If we knew these things ahead of time we would have stayed at another hotel in the area.  Beware this hotel extremely nosey you will hear everything.  You will not get a good night sleep.
