The quality sign on the door is meaningless, and if this property remains in the Wyndham group it means that Wyndham also has no standards.  The carpet was beyond dirty, the mattress had springs poking through the covering, the bed coverings were dirty and had cigarette burn marks, the walls were dirty, and the hair dryer didn't work.  I checked out the breakfast area when I arrived and found the floor covered with trash, by morning the trash had been swept up and left on the floor by the trash can.  Almost any place would be better than the Groton Super 8. 

Don't stay here.

Stay away. It’s all smoked up. Mattress is dirty .
Carpet has cigarette burns. Cheap but disgusting we left and asked for a refund. 
Very dirty. Bunch or druggies stay there. Not for families with children. Shady place, needs updates. Don’t book with booking they don’t like to refund money.

The place was easy to find was the IP side of this place...

Not so cozy

Place is nasty burnt rugs nasty sheets dirty bathroom the air conditioner barely works. it says Continental breaks online but the only thing you get is waffles which is only one machine for all the ppl there coffee juice and cold danish also dry packs of oatmeal..When you go online to reserve a room  nothing like the pictures...So disappointed ☹️☹️☹️

Don't recommend anyone to stay

This is the Worst hotel:motel I have ever stayed in. Cigarette burns in the carpet. Holes in the blankets on the bed., graffiti ontje shower curtain rod. Sheets that are worn out and thin, sagging and overly soft mattress, window curtain frayed with holes in it,.But, even if you close your eyes and don’t look at any of the shabbiness of the property the smell will stay with you. Decades of cigarette smoke in the carpet and furnishings. The conditions of this Wyndham property is a disgrace. The CEO Geoff Ballotti should be ashamed of himself for not being aware or being aware and not caring about his properties. WOW! For the love of God if you can afford to stay somewhere else do it.I will say 2 good things. The girl at the front desk ,Rebecca, was  CC so sweet and friendly and professional. I hope she gets a job at a place worthy of her. The housing keeping staff kept the room as clean as they could with what they have to work with.

Property is in serious disarray.  Awful smell permeating the building, particularly the rooms.  Burn marks on the carpet that looks like it’s from 1975.My room furniture was BROKEN, what was supposed to be a desk had only a frame for a drawer.A friend had a room down the hall that had similar issues but the bathroom floor was dirty and slimy to the touch.Needed to go down to the stop n shop to get some Fabreze to try and help.Several guests were “abandoning ship” once they arrived…

The worst hotel/motel I have stayed at.
The shabbiest conditions. Cigarette burns into the carpet, holes in the bedding, sagging mattress. Rips in the window curtain.The smell was even worse because when you close your eyes and don’t see the complete disrepair and awful conditions you can smell the decades old stale cigarette smoke imbedded in the carpet.
It is an absolute disgrace that they have not replaced carpet and bedding in decades.The CEO is a Millionaire, Geoff Ballotti. He should be ashamed that his name is associated with this property.
I will say two good things. The girls at the front desk, Rebecca, was lovely.
She should work at a hotel worthy of her kindness. The cleaning grew kept the horrible room clean as it could possibly be for the awful conditions.

Absolutely Do Not Go Here

First room was two beds instead of one king, that was changed but then there were cigarette burns on the blanket so they changed the room again and at 2 am in the morning some guy got in the room, apparently they forgot to put the change into the computer and gave another customer a key card for the room, so he left and went back to the front desk, yeah didn't sleep well that night.

TBH the front desk staff was very friendly, the bed and room were clean and comfortable. There was a string tinge smell of weed in the lobby and hallways, but I slept well and it was clean.

For the money, a good sleep.

I don't feel like putting something here, it would show more effort than this hotel does.
