We stayed one night only to be relatively close to the stadium for a Thursday night football game. Easy,cheap bus ride to stadium and a $20 taxi ride back. Everything was great. Breakfast was relish and generous. The ac was loud but I always have earplugs with me. Would recommend. 

Good place to stay for a football game

I was here for a Daughters of the American Revolution meeting.  I was really impressed with the food and service.  We were served four courses beginning with fruit.  Next was an individual quiche that was served cold. Would have been better if they chose to serve it warm, but it was still good. Finger sandwiches were next and were delicious! Plenty for everyone.  Dessert was served last of course and was wonderful.  An assortment of scones, small cakes and other yummy treats.  My daughter would love this.  Think I'll bring her sometime.  Pinkies up! 

High tea! 

I was thinking that this would be a nice retreat for my wife and myself. I was wrong. I had written to cancel and even though it was more than a month in advance of the reservation they charged full price for the room. I called and left a message a few days later when I noticed the charge on my credit card. There was no answer at the inn and even though I left my name and phone number I never received a call back. I called again and was able to finally get through. The lady on the phone was not nice at all and simply stated that they did not offer any refunds and that basically I was out of luck.

I could not recommend that anyone should even consider staying at this location, just the attitude of the people alone is enough to drive any customers away.

We stayed for three nights at the Gaslight Inn B&B. The rooms are beautiful with very comfortable beds. Each room is decorated with antiques, with each having its own feel. The breakfasts are amazing made to order! There are fresh baked cookies every afternoon! The staff was fantastic! The owners were very nice. You also need to check out the Desert Rose Steakhouse and The Old Town Wine Bar, all owned by Teresa and Pete. From now on, this will be our go to place in the Phoenix area!

Hidden Gem

We had been booked on a United Airlines flight this morning from Boston's Logan Airport that was cancelled due to snow.  We had planned to stay at a bed-and-breakfast in Tucson for a week and then spend several days in Phoenix before flying back to Boston.  Due to the difficulty of rebooking, we decided to scrap the trip altogether.  We had booked the Gaslight Inn for two nights next week (2/16 and 2/17) and paid in full for both nights.  The Inn's confirmation indicated that five days notice would be required for cancellation.  I provided written notice of cancellation this morning, a full seven days prior to scheduled arrival.  When I heard nothing, I called to confirm that the Inn had received my cancellation request.  To my surprise, I was told that they do not provide cash refunds but only credit for a future stay.  That policy was not indicated anywhere that I can find.  We now have no plans to travel to Phoenix in the foreseeable future and our deposit has no value to us.
