Fabulous location for a start. 
The hostess went above and beyond to accommodate our party, even wearing the masks we’d brought to celebrate the birthday boy and arranging decorations in the room. 
Rooms were lovely and sparkling clean, breakfast was delicious, all in all a fabulous little gem. 
We will be back for sure .

Favourite place to stay & eat in Bowness!
Checked in on a Saturday and stayed until Monday. Had a lovely room for 2 nights and breakfast included on both mornings. Literally cannot complain at all, everything was 10/10.
Anca was amazing at communicating with us from the get go, we booked through booking.com and Anca sent us a message to welcome herself and throughout the whole process responded within the hour if we needed anything or required answers about things. We arrived late Saturday night and the check in process was so straight forward, we were given the key code during the day and got our key easily. We stayed in room 4 on the top floor and it was just perfect, clean, cosy, decorated well and the bed was INCREDIBLE - probably the most comfortable bed we've stayed in when staying away. The tv was huge and had Netflix which was cool. They left rose petals on our bed which was such a lovely touch, as well as a fan, kettle, tea & coffee, comfy chairs etc. Such a perfect little room for us!

Ps. Parking is a bit of a pain but this isn't Monties fault, it's just bowness in general. My auntie lives up the road so we were able to park there. There are many roads further up that you could probably park on as long as you don't park outside someone's house, not to mention the fact you can get a train.
There is lots of noise coming from the main road that you can hear from the bedroom but this is of course going to be the case with it being so central so something you can't really complain about or blame Monties for. We were woken a couple of times by noise but were fine once we shut the windows and we knew this was going to be the case anyway so it didn't bother us at all - just something to be mindful of 😊 

The cafe is always nice and somewhere we've been plenty of times for breakfast, the first morning we had a fry up (forgot to get a picture sorry) and the last morning I had poached eggs on toast with added hashbrowns, so delicious, and the cappuccino I had both days was so good - a proper coffee! The breakfast menu for guests has more than enough choice and lots of delicious options.The staff are all so lovely, really welcoming and accommodating.
Will absolutely 100% be staying when we next visit bowness - thank you so much Anca & team ❤️

Best b&b and cafe in Bowness!

Beautiful and clean accommodation, host Ankor made us very welcome . Full English Breakfast superb definitely give it a try .  Location right in centre. Will be returning and recommending this.
Very easy check in and check out.

Lovely bed and breakfast

Excellent location but a bit noisy. The bedroom was completely comfortable, clean and breakfast excellent! People very kind and always eager to help. It has paying parking round the corner. This area doesn't have free parking. Plenty of things to do. 

Days in Bowness on Windermere. 

Room 7 clean and spacious. Staff friendly.  Breakfast tasty and staff were accomodating regarding choices not listed on the standard menu. Didn't find the room noisy as previously mentioned in other reviews. 

Negatives - toilet seat needs tightening
shower tad small. If portly may be a struggle. Plug socket loose by bed and no USB outlets.

Best location in Bowness. Lovley staff. Beautiful room. Good breakfast. Bit loud at night with party goers walking past. I will stay again. Lovely.

Great hotel in the best location.

Lovely guest house right in the Centre of Bowness. Very welcoming easygoing owners, lovely clean rooms with a great cafe underneath. Excellent value for money.  Couldn’t fault it at all. I will certainly be returning.

Excellent place to stay

We have just returned from a three night stay in this wonderful place ,Anca who met us was fantastic nothing was too much trouble she was very friendly and welcoming
Our room was on the top floor facing the street ,it was very clean and tidy and plenty of room with a large tv at high level the bathroom was great very clean and spacious with a lovely shower we had no problems with water pressure or anything like that. there is also a fan if required .we loved the fact that we got our room key and you can then just look after yourself and get on with your vacation and come and go as you pleaseThe location of the property couldn't be any better you are right in the middle of Bowness with cafes bars restaurants shops and the lake only 2 mins walk away
The breakfast which was gorgeous by the way  was cooked very well with local  produce used and sets you up nicely for the rest of the day .
Anca and all the staff were brilliant polite and very friendly and always asked us if we needed anything for the room ,we were very pleased that we found this little gem of a place .there is no parking but the car park 2mins away is £17 for three days which was very reasonable and very safe .

Fantastic Place

A two night, first time, very enjoyable stay as a couple spent here with 'rated breakfasts". Anca and her staff do cater for all your needs with covid in mind. A well positioned guest house for all amenities. Public short & long stay parking is a 2 minute walk. Great value for money.

"A very clean and well positioned guest house"

Stayed for 3 nights. Staff were fantastic couldn’t fault the welcome and how attentive they were but the room was so disappointing . It was tiny and so was the bathroom, the pictures on the web site are very misleading. The bed was the most uncomfortable, the mattress was either very old or very cheap. We decided to turn the mattresses to see if it would improve the comfort we wish we hadn’t as it was filthy underneath too many stains to mention. Towels are too small and hard. The room it self is so small nothing like the pictures. Need to update the parking as we were lead to believe it was possible to park just not guaranteed. Breakfast was good would have liked a fresher option even at an extra cost.
