Amazing stay very friendly staff A few days away with the boy and the girl on the front desk was amazing and very friendly

Visited on 12 April 24 have visited other Daishs hotels before so new what to expect. Meals OK  Room  125 looked like it had just been done up and had a brilliant view over the sea, beds very comfortable bit of noise from the traffic on the road in front of the hotel  but never bothered me entertainment good concert room a bit quirky in 3 separate sections can only see the artist in one room fortuanetaly Daishs own own the hotel next door and and able to use the concert room in that hotel which has just been refurbished and is large and fantastically decorated well worth a visit

Just returned from a 5 day break at the Russell Everything  was spot on from the moment we
stepped in the door. The room was perfect with a wonderful  sea view. Start the day with an 
excellent cooked hot breakfast the menu for evening meal was varied  with a choice for all
tastes. In the evening  you had good entertainment and bingo. We shall be returning as soon as 
possible 


Recently returned from the Russell hotel in Weymouth , it's a lovely sea front hotel. Great location this well run hotel is one of our favourite hotels for a short break. Comfortable,clean and well kept rooms, nothing is too much trouble. The menu is varied with choice's to suit everyone, catering for special diet's. The dinning room staff are lovely and very helpful , as are all the staff. The evening entertainment is very  good also, with reasonable bar price's.

I didn't actually book at The Russell Hotel but with the sister hotel next door. The room we stay in every time we go is between the corridor connecting the 2 hotels. We book with The Prince Regent and the rest of our stay is with them although we like to go to the Russell's entertainment at night as we prefer the atmosphere there. Love Daishs hotels. 

Stayed 5 days with my husband we had a brilliant time. live entertainment every night dancing. bingo quizzes 2 night half price bar. The food was so good. we did half board . We had a beautiful double room overlooking the sea. with huge windows. Staff friendly and can't do enough for you. This is a hotel I would definitely stay in again

I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday coach journey was good. Staff were very pleasant room was warm and clean. The food was absolutely excellent and enjoyed all the entertainment that I went to would love to go again

This was my second visit to the Russell Hotel and both times have done me the world of good.
Very relaxing holidays, perfect location for walking for me as I have breathing issues but manage at least 6hrs in the fresh air daily.
Never eat breakfast at home but love my breakfast here and sets me up for the day.always plenty at all meal times and staff always so helpful.
Bar staff very good, always smiling and chatty which is lovely when travelling alone, but have met some lovely people aswell.
Can't wait to return,already looking for next dates I can have off work so see you all soon.

Our coach arrived and staff and booking  in was very organised and very quick.
I had lovely single sea view room. Warm and cosy.
Plenty hot water for shower.
Good choice of food at breakfast and evening dinner.
Staff very friendly and efficient.
Entertainment and bingo each evening was very enjoyable.
Bar prices very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Daish's Turkey and Tinsel break. Loved the sea view from our room and the fact there's a bus stop outside with frequent buses to Dorchester should one wish to venture further. A good choice of food offered and varied entertainment. Staff we encountered all very helpful.

Holiday in the Russel hotel Weymouth

We had to wait a little while for our room on arrival but that was because of the journey wasn't as long lovely room sea view, comfy bed very hot water for shower and a warm room , coach trips arranged, only problem kitchen flooded out but we had  breakfast and dinner in the regent hotel Next door Which was ok with us where the staff worked so hard to move everything and keep us all Happy 😄

Came here with our local club for a long weekend and was very impressed how hard the staff work even the manager pitched in and did breakfast orders food was hot and tasty rooms were comfy but to hot we turned the radiator down but just opened the window because it was still hot entertainment every night and bingo all in all a fantastic few days away thank you Russell Hotel I’m sure we will be back.

Relaxing weekend

Location of hotel is very good, but single glazing allowed seafront road noise into room.
Staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Hotel condition is clean and tidy, but tired and needs a bit of updating.
Food was simple, but nice, and could do with slightly larger portions.
Entertainment was ‘OK’, but only started around 9:00 pm, so a little late.
In short, despite the negatives, there are plenty of positives and I would defo go again.

Lovely staff - friendly helpful and efficient. Good food and choice of food. Great location on sea front, bus stop outside and walking distance to railway.  Good entertainment if you like a quiz, bingo and singers. Needs a bit of a refurb - very noisy floor boards and poor shower in our room, but would happily stay again.
