I spent one night here while I was working away from home and what a great choice the place is lovely, very clean and the staff are really friendly! I would definitely recommend this place, I'm hoping to go back there in the future but for a vacation rather than working. 

Very friendly 

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tina and Mark , and staff are lovely welcoming people and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had all you need. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and had good local ingredients. Smiles all round.
We will definitely be back when in the area again.

3 night stay

Springfield House is a gem of a B&B with Tina a very welcoming host.  The house is set in a beautiful large garden about 100 yards down a narrow lane from the A38.  The guest rooms are in an annexe across from the house; room 1 was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and attractive furnishings, and the bathroom had very hot water and a good shower.  Breakfast is served in the main house and was excellent, with local produce cooked to order.  There are several pubs within ten minutes' drive (didn't fancy a 20 minute walk along narrow lanes with no pavements!) so finding a reasonable dinner is not a problem.  I'd be more than happy to stay here again if I'm ever passing through.

Spotless, comfortable and welcoming

This B&B is simply wonderful.  It truly feels like home away from home.  Mark and Tina make one feel so welcome and at home. The rooms are spacious, and has every amenity one requires in a magnificent setting.  It is close enough to town, but set in between farmlands and the most beautiful oak tree-lined lanes.  The breakfast each morning is scrumptious, fresh and healthy. Tina's service is always friendly and efficient.  This B&B comes VERY highly recommended.

Home away from home

Stopped in for 1 x night on our way to Cornwall. If your after an excellent place to  stay in the area then this is it.  The picture is of the garden and it's beautiful -  Thank you Tina.....we"'ll be back 😀
