From the moment that we walked through the front door at the White Horse Tavern the warm welcome that we received from Rob & Jackie was really nice. We were shown to our room which was perfect and we were soon in the bar drinking with the locals before we headed off for our night at the Telford International Centre. 
Everyone is so welcoming & friendly at the White Horse Tavern, the bedrooms are lovely and with a very comfortable bed which is always a bonus. The breakfast & service is amazing and along with how lovely Rob & Jackie are this is easily in the top five of the best places we have ever stayed and we're already planning our return visit.

Amazing little gem of a place. 

A lovely cosy place to stay.  The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile.  We stayed in a family room which was very clean and suited us well. We had an evening meal which was delicious.  I would certainly stay there again and would recommend the White Horse.

One night stay

Brilliant and very friendly, Jackie and Rob made us very welcome,, Happily chatted to our granddaughters,, Food was very good. The only thing which would of improved  it for us is  the double bed would of been better with a king size quilt ,as been larger people it was a struggle to cover us both..

Welcoming 

We were looking for an overnight stop on the way to North Wales found this establishment absolutely fantastic such good value for money
We arrived mid evening panicking that we may have missed the cut off point for the kitchen. Only to be met by the most friendly and helpful member of staff who secured our food order then showed us to our room 
Very basic but spotlessly clean and fully stocked up.
Our dinner arrived wow food was amazing and very good value. Don’t get me wrong this is a very basic establishment but if you want good food good value and a friendly atmosphere then this is the place to stay. If you want all bells whistles and fells look elsewhere. 
I have nothing but praise for this place as I’ve paid a lot more and been very disappointed this ticked every box for weary travelers looking for a hot meal and a clean bed for the night

Stopover

This is a lovely B&B located in a great place only 10 minutes from Telford International Centre. The lady who runs the Tavern is friendly and makes you feel very welcome. The food in the restaurant was amazing, I had a rump steak rare and was perfectly cooked. There were options for breakfast which was plentiful. The rooms were clean, tidy, roomy and had a great selection of tea and coffee. Wil definitely use again. 

A Great B&B found

Amazing service, was served by kieran who was amazing! Friendly, fun, banterous and professional. He was quick on the bar and still provided excellent customer service. Pub was clean and had a nice atmosphere

Amazing staff

I say find as i did drive past before i realised it was there! In one direction i don't recall a sign. I remembered a review from someone here that it has a convenience store opposite and there is clear marking approaching from the other direction. Opposite the convenience store near the leisure centre. 

Lovely room, nice old fashioned key door entry. Very generous on the hospitality tray. And really pleased to report- sockets by the bedside tables! 

Good breakfast and decent pint in the evening.

Everything was fine. Staff very helpful (especially Irish lady at breakfast). Nice rooms, very clean. Great beer garden under the room we were staying at. Not walking distance to town centre though. Would definitely recommend, very good value

Great

We are currently on night two of a two night stay in this smashing place. It is very friendly, very clean, perfect for three of us as the room we have consists of three separate rooms allowing privacy for our teenage daughter. Breakfast is excellent, staff are lovely and welcoming and we will be back. 
Would entirely recommend this smashing wee place to anyone who wants an affordable, comfortable and welcoming stay. A rare combination of attributes these days.

Smashing wee place!

My daughter, myself and two grandaughters booked two twin rooms. On arrival a lovely lady greeted us and nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable.  At breakfast we explained that one daughter didn.t feel terribly well. Immediately a tray was made up with toast and cereal for her in her room.  If you are looking for a change from  the bland indifference and lack of interest the large chains provide this is the place.  I think your name was Kathleen, sorry if I am wrong, but I cannot thank you enough. Really hope to see you again.
