A true find. A great nights sleep in the middle of Stratford on Avon. Very comfortable beds everything was spotlessly clean and charming and knowledgeable hosts. Delicious breakfast too. Couldn’t find fault with anything loved it all…..

Fab fab fab

Loved our two night stay at the Emsley B&B  in Stratford, very lucky with the weather which helped, as did liz and Chris as great hosts. 

Very welcoming, helpful and attentive, room was lovely and breakfast great.   The pancakes are particularly recommended.

Would book again if coming back.

A fabulous guesthouse with loads of character! 
The hosts, Chris & Liz, gave us a warm welcome and supplied lots of info about the local area too. Our room was spacious, comfortable & spotlessly clean. 
The choice of breakfasts was superb with plenty of coffee & tea refills too. 
Parking is just along the road at the Arden Street car park, for which we were given a free parking permit to pop on the dashboard.  
We will definitely stay here when we next visit the area & would highly recommend it to others.

What an absolute gem!

What can I say but wow! What a lovely place to stay . Liz & Chris the hosts were brilliant and nothing was to much trouble. Without doubt one of the nicest bed & breakfast I’ve ever stayed at. If your visiting Stratford upon Avon I wound definitely consider staying here you will not be disappointed.

Wow! First Class

A wonderful guesthouse!  Spotlessly clean & plenty of character throughout the building.  The hosts are nicely attentive with lots of info about the local area too.  All the rooms have a silent fridge which was handy for a few cold beers!  The breakfast was superb with plenty of coffee & tea refills too.  Parking is literally just along the road at the Arden Street car park the hosts will give you a permit to pop on your dashboard such a bonus!  Will stay here when we next visit the area it was a real treat.

Wonderful guesthouse!

Highly recommend staying here lovely hosts fantastic breakfast the best pancake topped with loads of fresh fruit I’ve ever had the room was lovely and clean we had a free parking permit across the road, it is also in a good location for walking around Stratford.

Stayed here for my 60th birthday

We received a fantastic welcome on arrival and were given a car park permit for the car park across the road making the parking free. 
The room was very spacious,clean and modern and as soon as we checked in we made our choices for breakfast for the morning after. 
We were given advice on where to head and were given a key to gain access whenever we liked. 
The full English breakfast the next morning was really good and came with coffee if preferred and toast. 
All in all a great stay at a very reasonable price hosted by really nice people.

Great value; great location

Firstly you have to give this fab B&B a try. On arrival you are very warmly greeted. Liz and Chris understand hosting and what you need after a long trip. I literally felt my stress lift away as soon as we walked in the door. Parking is just across the road in a secure car park. All very easy. There is an extensive breakfast menu which you pre order. Everything is made fresh on the day and you can tell!!. I had a gorgeous pancake with fresh fruit and yoghurt and hubby had the cooked breakfast- best breakfast we have had all week. After a quick walk round a rainy Stratford Liz offered to dry our coats for us - these little touches made all the difference. The whole place is very tastefully decorated, thought has gone into every item. Breakfast was served to some gentle music played on an original record player, the numerous paintings are superbly chosen, the beds were cosy and warm, dressed with gorgeous blankets. You cannot fake what Liz and Chris have. They genuinely care about their guests, they are truly amazing hosts and we cannot wait to go back to the the Emsley.

Our new go to place in Stratford

Excellent nights sleep, 5* breakfast and 10* hosts! 
Parking: 1 minute walk from the car park, the parking is free, you just need a permit from the B and B. It couldn’t be easier.
Bedroom: we had the York room, it wasn’t the biggest but we couldn’t fault it. Very clean and extremely comfortable. We can honestly say we slept like logs! We slept with the window open as we like the fresh air and there was no noise whatsoever. The bathroom was (again) very clean and had everything you would need. Tea/coffee/biscuits/toiletries/hairdryer/fridge with complimentary water/fan and fresh towels all included.
Breakfast: Outstanding, highly recommend the scrambled eggs and salmon and the eggs Benedict with chorizo. You could tell the ingredients were of a very high quality and nothing was to much trouble. Loved the friendly atmosphere.
Hosts: Liz and Chris are amazing, they have a wealth of knowledge on the local area and are happy to chat and suggest places to go. Outstanding 10* hosts, thank you.
We will be staying again when visiting, a fantastic 2 days, we were sorry to leave.
