Had an amazing time today at amerton farm. Such a great experience and full day out. We enjoyed petting all of the animals and spent lots of time with each of the animals. Our highlight was for sure the lamb feeding with the milk and feeding the calves milk as well. They were adorable! Staff were very friendly and really helpful! Loved the added extra of the go karts and play area. Food was good. Would highly recommend and we were two adults visiting with no children 😂

Amazing

I went here with a friend and our boys of 1 and 2 years old. It’s a lovely little farm to look round. You get free animal feed on entry. You can book online but we went on a Monday and it wasn’t busy. Fine for a pram to get round, but bumpy gravel. Sandpit & bouncy areas for kids are good fun for them. Sandpit was good for ours as they’re younger. Bouncy areas have an under 6 one and an older one. Animals include chickens, pigs, donkeys, Tiny pony, goats etc etc. Good toilets with baby change in both men’s & women’s toilets. Delicious ice creams sold by the entrance. I recommend them! There is a train ride but this was closed. (Only open on weekends) inside areas & tractor rides closed due to COVID. 

Lovely day out

Everything was calm, relaxed and safe. 
Staff were friendly and lovely to our little girl. 
All the girls in reception were pleasant and helpful but in particular thank you to Rachel in the ice cream parlour. What a star! 

Was ok for a couple of hours but not a lot to do . Small selection of animals that you can buy feed for . Went on the tractor ride but was a bit boring as most of the fields were empty . Play area for younger kids was fun . Gift shop and food was very expensive but the ive cream was delicious with a plenty of choice 
You can pay extra to go in the birds enclosure but only a small range in there and you can pay extra to paint a piece of pottery. 
Not really somewhere I would go twice 

Visit with grandchildren 

Have been there in past but was looking forward to taking 7yr old granddaughter.my sis and elderly mo. Came too.there was small mini golf and childrenss ride which she enjoyed.the food shop was good.the other shop with clothes gifts etc could have done with more to see.disappointed wildlife centre closed.used to love that and always gelt they were doing ok.bakery great.vourtyard lovely if weather warmer.we tried restsurant most tables were reserved so couldnt eat there.very disapointed ss only animals could see were through the blake barn play area.£6.99 child £1.99  adult.thought this extortio ate.i didnt take my granddsughter in so she waz upset seei g no animals.surely its a lot when most families have 2 childten.amerton are guaranteed money would be spent in cafe in the barn while children play in soft play do i think charge is way to high.ruinef my day planned.the best psrt was the train.cost us 4 £8 and can have two journeys.

Taking granddaughter out for day

Me and a friend came with the little one Billy's play and outside farm very disappointing waited 15 mins to get in as they appear to be short staffed. Went to the bakery to get food as hot pies are served 12 till 2 got there at about 12,30 no hot pies only like warm waited another 10 mins to get back in to Billy's barn and another 20 mins for a drink at the food bar not even a sport for the wait won't be back in a hurry  

Disappointed

Visited here on a Sunday afternoon. Brilliant staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Really nice food and excellent service. All the more pleasing when it was busy in the cafe too. Thank you. Cheesecake was absolutely superb!!

Lovely Staff

We arrived at Amerton tea room yesterday for a large family party for afternoon tea. We were given a very basic selection of sandwiches,cheese, egg and tuna! We had to ask for tea and coffee and on asking for more, it never arrived! Delicious home made cakes - sadly not! Not even any butter for the scones.Having visited last year for the same occasion we were all looking forward to a delicious tea but after yesterday we will not visit again!

Dissapointing!

I have visited amerton for 27years. Every single year I have been first with my children now with my grandchildren. I used to go straight to the animal hospital where I could spend 2hrs or more. Stroking the jackdaw on his head and the cheeky parrot who liked his head stroked too. I am very very sad to hear that the new owners don't want it any more and also nothing is free any more. You have to pay to go in the barn to see any animals. I notice that there is now a fish/meat section but can I just say that while browsing the clothes and other things my stomach was turning over as all I could smell was meat. I think it should be sectioned off. I really don't like amerton any more as even the few animals in the courtyard are moved. There is nothing of interest to me now. It feels very empty and I think it's ridiculous having a hairdressers on-site.....at a farm....whats all this about. I may pop in for an icecream if I'm passing but i certainly won't be putting amerton at the top of my list of places to go.  Has the new owner even thought what the people,like myself who like I said have been coming for 27 years , really want from a visit to amerton FARM. And the picnic area in the small field is padlocked and they have put sheep in there.  Shame on you amerton owners. You have lost a long term reliable visitor in me.
