A most charming hotel right in the heart of Aberystwyth, comfy and quiet, good old-fashioned design mixed with modern elements, and there's even a big shelf full with fluffy toys in the reception! The staff are very friendly and helpful, parking is available despite the central location, and it's a very short walk down to the harbour.

Charming, friendly and central

We stayed for five nights. Our room was so comfortable and clean. The shower was piping hot. The location is perfect,  the promenade is right around the corner. The town is two minutes walk. Close to train and bus links. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Super stay

Very sweet accommodation and very well priced. Clean, comfy rooms. We arrived late notice and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Couldn’t fault them at all!

Nice and close to the sea front, but also a very quiet road at night.

Llwynygog Guest House (Ystwyth)

Very clean and tidy guest house and the owners we very welcoming and accommodating with any needs they went that extra mile to make sure I was happy with everything made my trip to Aberystwyth much more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and I will be booking in the future.

Lovely guest house

I loved my visit to Aberystwyth and stayed in this hotel, which was a super. Live the staff matt and lou where amazing and went the extra mile for me me thank you so much I'd love to stay all year thank you. House clean and tidy and bed lush thank you 

Great owners

Excellent guest house. Comfortable bed. Shared bathroom wasnt a problem as there's two bogs next to each other.

My only problem was there was no table for laptop but as its a laptop, i used my lap.

Theres worse things going on in the world than no table.

Clean and basic but im not megan markel so dont care.

we arranged a short notice Bike trip 12 bikes, we needed a decent bed for the night,Louise came up trumps, a basic Guest house or so it appears, very clean and tidy, had a refurb by the looks, shared bathrooms are really nice clean and modern, arranged rooms elsewhere to accommodate us all. bonus was i left my sat nav on the bike seat overnight, some kind person handed in to the guest house, can't fault in any way. arranged a great breakfast across the road at a fiver ... worth a tenner all day long, thank you for your efforts Much appreciated. will recomend and return again. thanks Steve

Overnight motorbike trip

We stayed as a large family in 2 rooms, for 4 nights. Excellent location - 2 mins walk to the beach. Parking a flight issue as a seaside resort, but Louise and Matthew will advise/help you find a space. 

As for the guesthouse - Louise and Matthew and their 2 delightful dogs are very welcoming and friendly. Full of local tips on where to visit and dine. 

The rooms were very simple and comfortable, just as we wanted. Bathrooms close by. Sink in our bedroom. Some bedrooms can have a childs bed added. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. TV and wifi. 

Hand sanitiser/soap provided and hygiene top notch; a relief considering the current Covid situation. No breakfast currently available. 

Recommend the kite feeding centre (feeding time changes to stop crowding, but suggest about 2pm), New Quay for seeing the dolphins and walk up Snowdon.

A most enjoyable stay. We would definitely go back to Llwynygog Guest House! 

So welcoming!

I needed a place to stay while my husband was in the hospital nearby, this was ideal,  within walking distance of the hospital, and wonderfully just a stones throw from the waterfront and the fresh air of the Irish Sea. 
I only needed a simple no-frills room, as I would only be sleeping there, and all the boxes were ticked with my single room with sink and tv and coffee making amenities and street view, and it was no burden that the bathroom was down the hall. 

This guest house has several levels of rooms, some with bathrooms, some without and varied prices. 
Very nice hosts and their friendly dogs made me feel welcome. I would stay there again if I have to, I only live 50 miles away but it saved me the miles and fatigue of going back and forth daily to the hospital. Great shopping nearby and lots of restaurants. Aberystwyth is a wonderful town with a lively Arts Centre at the University, and is a great place for young and old alike.

Cheap, cheerful and convenient.

From first contact we found the owners very helpful and friendly. 
The room was spotlessly clean, no frills but perfectly adequate for our needs.
A great location close to the beach and shops, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
