The only thing more incredible about the pub is the staff. Awesome surrounding  and well done for having the best  people  on charger. Trusted me and all other guests well. Humble and kind and I hope to see you next time I visit. It was also sunny (need to use word count)

Clean room and comfortable bed

Staff were lovely and let us take drinks from the pub to our room after last orders
Close to Arndale Car Park which we had no issues with

Couldn't fault it

Went in yesterday with a few friends, sat on the roof terrace which was nice despite the view. The two young bartenders on the upstairs bar, Nathan and Nial had very good customer service and had a chat with us while we were waiting for our drinks. They reccomended us a stout when i asked for guiness, we loved it! Drank it all day. Love from ireland great pub and good atmosphere.

My new favourite drink!

Called in to this pub Saturday afternoon with 9 family members. It was a first time visit. The pub was packed but we didn't have a problem getting served as there was 4 people behind the bar. The prices were reasonable and there was a good selection of ales. Would definitely recommend this pub for a visit.

Great pub.

Having stayed in the hotel in The Lower Turks Head numerous times over the past year I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Manchester. Ideally located opposite Shudehill Interchange, next to the rear entrance of The Printworks, and two minutes walk from the trendy Northern Quarter it makes for an ideal starting point to explore Manchester, and the wider North West. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, exactly what is needed for the young traveller. 

The pub downstairs is well run and well staffed by friendly barmaids and -men, who are always polite and friendly. The pub boasts a diverse and likeable clientele - with Sunday nights Northern Soul nights, bringing in people from across the North West to spin on the dancefloor!

I can thoroughly endorse this as a place to sleep, and to drink.

Lovely place to say - and drink!

Wow, that started off as a quick Christmas drink. It was that good, with quick friendly staff that we stayed all day. .
No matter how busy it is, you never wait to be served, which you can’t say for a lot of places 

Heavy Day 

A couple of us call into this traditional Pub on a Thursday afternoon and it was busy. It has a terrific atmosphere and location is great pleasure not far from Victoria station and can watch out onto the street the goings-on in Manchester. 

Although the Brewery isn’t my favourite they do have some good beers that are well kept . 

The service is fast and friendly and it is not expensive for the city centre.

Bustling and enjoyable

Shivanii and ellie are top ! Different since the refit but exactly what you’d expect from a holts. The view is now obstructed by construction but still a pleasant enough refuge to tan amber leaf and contemplate exsistence

Good customer serrvice

Been coming in here for years & it’s still as good as ever, don’t expect armchairs & fancy fittings as you won’t get them here, what you will get is excellent beer, excellent service and a great old time pub atmosphere. People come and go here as it’s directly opposite the bus station.

Fantastic old style pub

Used this as a meeting place for a group of friends to get together. Good choice of beers on but had trouble getting the first beer - seems I was the first customer in that day ?? Trouper wouldn't pull through so selected a pale ale instead - that wouldn't pull through either. After some intervention in the cellar the second choice became available then the member of staff tried the trouper again and that came though so went with my original choice. All 7 of us enjoyed our different beers. Staff friendly. A nice warming coke stove with open doors was very welcome on a cold day. Stayed for a second round !!!
