Stayed here for one night as we had an early crossing on the Channel Tunnel the next day. For an overnight stay it was very good, bed comfortable, room clean, big, lots of space. We did the meal deal so had a 2 course dinner which was good and breakfast the next day. We were the first in the restaurant for breakfast as we had an early departure so all food was freshly cooked and was good. For what we paid £35 for the room and meal deal £27.99 each we thought it good value. Nicely located too just off the M20. One thing they could consider is putting usb plugs in the rooms

Value for money

Positives first , very nice helpful lady on reception.  Very good location next to Allington Lock . Nice and quiet. Clean rooms.
Negatives,  rusty chrome towel rail , sort it please management,  not good enough. Matress far too hard , stayed at another Premier the next evening and that bed had a mattress topper and it made all the difference to our quality of sleep. Breakfast below average , nice staff though . Cooked food was luke warm , weak watery tropical juice (if you can call it juice mind ) drink , poor housekeeping with chipped cracked cups present , Breakfast quality in general going downhill , need two coffee machines as well . 
Overall an average stay , the only real plus were that the staff were very nice , worked hard and were efficient. Saying that we wouldn't stay here again.

Average Stay

I stayed for 1 night in a wheelchair accessible room with my assistant dog. 
The room was clean and I was very happy with the amenities
The staff were great and went above and beyond to support me. 
I would definitely stay here again and appreciate the help I was given

As far as the actual hotel goes, it is slightly tired but not too bad, however the breakfast next door was a disgrace! Filthy dirty area, plates, cutlery, chairs, table sticky, bacon had hardly seen a hot pan! 
Due to this we will not be using this hotel again.

Food let this hotel down.

Enjoyed our stay warm clean room breakfast was brilliant location good 
Outside area was beautiful for walks Kent life next door was a big surprise spent whole day there it was just right place for visiting family

We stayed at the Premier In & was comfortable and staff where friendly but as for the Parking this is something they need to sort out when we arrived we registered our car on the computer in reception but when we got home we received a fine & now have to go through the appeal process a-lot of inconvenience & staff did not want to know as they said it was out of there hands

Unexpected Parking Fine BEWARE!!!

The Hotel it self was ok,except having to get our get our door cards reprogramed all the time and then when I got home i got a parking ticket altough I registered my vehicle on the recption compter,I rang hem up and was told to call customer relations which i did and they said they would email them to get it sorted but to no avail i was then told i would have to appeal the ticket which is alot of inconvience and time to me so please beware Premier Inn should be looking after there customers  not causing all this greviance!!

This is in a convenient but lovely setting.  We found it a great base for visiting family.  The staff were friendly and helpful.  The best Premier in we have stayed in.  We would definitely recommend this for a short stay. 

Great budget hotel

My wife and I were visiting a relative in Canterbury and wanted a hotel not too far away. We had stayed in the Maidstone area before and had seen this Premier inn on our last visit and really liked its location next to the river. The hotel and room were clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfasts and evening meals at the Malta inn were excellent.  

Nice 2 night break

The hotel was ok, room was clean and bed comfortable.  We decided to pay for the breakfast but so wish we hadn't have done!  The scrambled egg had a funny taste, the sausages were not of a good quality and the mushrooms were cold.  There was no orange juice just a tropical juice which was watery! There were children running around with plates of food!  Next time we will be eating out!
