Stayed an overnight as attending festival in Dalkeith. Owner Ruth is an absolute delight & very accomodating. Rooms are spotless & decorated tastefully in keeping with the era of the house. Board is room only ,however rooms have tea& coffee making facilities & in the hallway is a large selection of free biscuits , fruit , juices , cereals , milk & specialist teas . A really thoughtful touch is a basket of toiletries, plasters,painkillers etc in both the bathroom & in hallway. This was our 2nd visit & would certainly go back 😁
